I don't know if any of you are following the investigation, but if you are you'll probably agree that it's going about as badly as is possible. The FBI has decided not to investigate his ties to radical Muslims and seems to have rejected any connections between the attacks and his earlier statements along the lines of his loyalty to Islam being stronger than his loyalty to the USA or the army. After all, that wouldn't fit in with the elaborate concessions and outreach Obama is making toward Muslim countries, where he keeps repeating that "Islam is a religion is peace."

It reminds me of that Hitler quote about telling a lie big and repeating it. Let's just hope they drop this charade after the next Fort Hood-style attack--and there will be at least one more, after the way this one was handled.

Leaving aside the matter of his homicidal spree, this man should have been busted down to an enlisted rank and sent to stand on a corner in Iraq years ago.

But he was a devoted Muslim, son of emigrants from Ramallah! That would be extremely insensitive.

There's no reason to believe what they say on television about their line of investigation. Police agencies regularly lie about that, as disinformation is a powerful weapon.
