luigi bros Posted November 25, 2009 Share Posted November 25, 2009 I downloaded Final Fantasy XI Wings of the Goddess from Gamestop's website and when I'm done installing it, it says "Final Fantasy XI has not been installed. Please install Final Fantasy XI before attempting to install Final Fantasy XI Wings of the Goddess". Can anyone give me advice of what to do? A little googling of the first sentence links to a certain site where this comment was posted: To use EU Install on US Install, do this:1. Go to Start->Run: Type 'regedit' and press enter. 2. Navigate to HKEY Local Machine -> Software > PlayOnlineUS, Right click PlayOnlineUS and click Rename. Note: the key name is HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Wow6432Node\PlayOnlineUS\ for 64bit systems. 3. Change the name of PlayOnlineEU to PlayOnlineUS 4. Run AutoRunEx.exe from the EU files. 5. Install WOTG. 6. Back in Regedit, Rename PlayOnlineUS back to PlayOnlineEU. 7. Open POL and register expansion key, do file check, done. Are you in Europe? Gamestop probably serves a US distribution.
