Please vote for what YOU think is the best AND worst in the series for this round. Failure to vote for both will result in your vote not being counted. The round will last for about a week or so, after which I will tally the votes, and will add the top three to a list in the opening post of the next topic.

It would be nice if you nominate ideas for when I'm out of them. I'll keep track of the nominations. Please nominate only once a round. You may nominate for idea that have already been nominated.

Besides the fact that he is pretty damn useful for the HM in at least earlygame, I'm also putting personality factor into this one. I blame all those character stuff people write on ChinaFE. It gave me so much respect for him.

And his bases. They are actually comparable to Seth's. Though he won't be growing as well.

Best: I'll go with FE7!Marcus. Great bases, with excellent weapon ranks. The only thing I see wrong with him so far is the low speed and defense growths, but other than that, he's A-okay with me. (Honorable mention goes to FE10!Sothe.)

Worst: I haven't delved into FE12 at all to want to vote Arran So for now, I'll vote for the archtype namer himself, Shadow Dragon version.

Which means he's still a Jagen, but he doesn't fall behind later on like others in the Jagen archetype.

Best: FE10 Sothe - he's at least useful until 5-E-1 as a chest-opener/hidden-item-finder, and maybe next chapter too with a Disarm/steal combo. Bane helps him do the Jeigan job of weakener well. And better than any Jeigan (Seth excluded), he's the best of his class (not that it's by much).

Worst: FEDS Jagen (or FE1/3 Book 1 Jeigan)

Best: FE7 Marcus for actually being good.

Worst: Eveyl. Because she can't even do her job well at all. She's too strong to be a weakener when you get her (even with Iron Sword still has trouble being a weakener due to crit rate), she's barely around, and when you finally get her back, she's garbage unless you shove a Luna Manual and Strength rings on her. Say what you want about Alan, at least he had some uses (High Move plus weapon rank plus can double a lot early on), Eveyl's just bad.

Say what you want about Alan, at least he had some uses (High Move plus weapon rank plus can double a lot early on), Eveyl's just bad.

Early on, you could have her rescue someone like Tanya. This does drop most of her stats and killing potential. She does have good movement and movement stars, on top of being invincible before she's petrified.
