Apparently you're killing Gharnef's ghost near the end. This must mean he likely suffers a fate worse than death (he already died once didn't he?).

You don't stand a ghost of a chance against Gharnef because this time he is a ghost!

Sorry, someone had to make that reference eventually.

It wouldn't be a true 4kids reference unless you say that 2 more times.

Despite loving and caring for him and basically devoting her life to him for the entire time lapse between SD and NMotE, Michalis can't recruit Maria.

Samson attacks Sheema if you recruited her but didn't manage to recruit him in the same turn... (and he almost killed her too!!)

It's known as Matthis syndrome, and it's really irritating.

As someone has already mentioned, Jake will not attack anybody.

However, if you have someone attack him, (for some stupid reason) he'll move and attack anyone in his range, including Shiida.

Edit: Another one. Out of all the maps that use "Liberation" as the player phase theme, only one (ch 18) is not recycled from Shadow Dragon. Admittedly, Ch 16 is a little different graphically, but still...

The Falcon Knight is shown in the opening class roll, I don't think this happened in Shadow Dragon. Probably because the Elysian whip can actually found on the ingame maps now.

The generic Ice Dragon boss in Ch 13 dosen't use boss music, but the bosses of both previous chapters (also generic dragons) do.

In maps with Fog of War, the Thief Staff only works on chests if they are within line of sight of at least one character.

In Chapter 16x, if there are no other enemies on the map, and you recruit Katarina, the chapter ends. This is one of the few (only?) times when you can clear a chapter by recruiting someone.

On a similar note, killing Katarina while she's still an enemy won't play the normal character death theme, instead, 'Puppets Don't Cry' (her theme) will play.

The generic bandit boss on prologue 5 has a battle quote and a death quote. The Gra Captain in Shadow Dragon prologue 4 used a unique portrait yet didn't have any battle or death quote at all.

General!Etzel has the highest DEF growth in the game at 75, beating even Sedgar out by 5. The only units to see a significant drop in growth rates between the two games were Arran, who went from a base growth total of 130 to 10; Sedgar, who dropped from 435 to 280; and Wolf, who went from 445 to 285.

Please tell me that's a typo...

Arran is the pure Jeigan and relies entirely on class growths and his 10% luck growth for his growths. But if you play NM even he can be tanky.

Unfortunately not. Arrran has a base luck growth of 10, and that's it. He's slightly better off than in FE3, because there he had a 10% growth in everything beside luck, which was 0. Thanks to class growths, his overall growths are now slightly better. Not that it really makes a difference, though.

So why does Katarina appear as a Sage there and then later regress to a Mage in the prologue of New Mystery?

It's a disguise? She is trying to conceal the fact that she can fight during the prologue. Even towards the end of the prologue, she's still probably holding back against Marth and My Unit.

Nyna uses the reclass system in this game. Twice in fact.

The first time in the Download chapters she's a Bishop, in SD she becomes a Bishop, and back at End Game she becomes a Bishop again.
