Please vote for what YOU think is the best AND worst in the series for this round. Failure to vote for both will result in your vote not being counted. The round will last for about a week or so, after which I will tally the votes, and will add the top three to a list in the opening post of the next topic.

It would be nice if you nominate ideas for when I'm out of them. I'll keep track of the nominations. Please nominate only once a round. You may nominate for idea that have already been nominated.

Please remember to nominate. Also, if your vote is not for one person/thing/etc, it will be thrown out. Your vote will also be thrown out if the FE game it is from is not stated if it is needed. This is mainly to avoid confusion.

Worst: FE6, since FE2's is liable to end up in first with or without my vote.

Best: FE10 Stalwarts Unite, although not much different from FE9 apart from some refining. Honourable mention: FE8's Comrades stands out quite nicely, keeping a sense of urgency on a tranquil song.

Worst: FE6, not a very good remix of 4 and because FE2's assured first, as it sounds more like an event theme of gloom or a magic cave wondering thing. Dishonourable mention: FE3's Theme of Encounter B is my least favorite of the recruitment theme remixes and of FE3's great ost, maybe because it doesn't sound as upbeat as FE1/others.

Best: FE9. FE10 is good but it doesn't have the right attack and decay (the sounds aren't punchy enough and hang around too long). Honorable mention to FE2 for a superbly melancholic sound but it's just not right for recruitment. Also to FE5 for a catchy tune and FE1 for a great harmony with the right presence.

Worst: FE8, the tune just doesn't do it for me. Additional mention to FE3 for having busy and invasive harmony.

It seems I'm the only one that doesn't like hyperactive recruit themes. I thought Gaiden was a nice change of pace.

I actually really liked FE2s. FE3B2s was just depressing and not that good.

I respectfully disagree, I think recruitment should be something exciting: you're getting a new fighter, perhaps even someone amazing, and the music should make you feel this. I loved Gaiden's when I heard it, but it was a bit sorrowful and I don't think that's how gaining a new ally should feel.
