Mage Knight 404
Heeeeey, it's not every day you see a Super Mario 64 ROM hack of this caliber. Not much I can comment on, but I have to say, it looks pretty good, so far.
Venusaur
You don't have to send him a PM, the link is in the description. Or, if you really don't want to go on the video: https://sites.google.com/site/messiaen64/misc-hacks/SM74Demo_byLugmillord.zip?attredirects=0&d=1 But go on the video anyways and recognize his hard work, at least. Celice
Actually, they're a little common (for the most part, in comparison to other games). The issue is probably your observations of what's happened and being worked on are limited. I personally have been liking this one since it started a while ago. http://www.romhacking.net/forum/index.php/topic,11960.0.html Thanks for posting about a different game being changed up though--a lot of times speciality forums like this one are incredibly biased and out-of-the-loop when it comes to lots of stuff XD
Crimson Red
Hmm, interesting... maybe I should beat the original game so I can start playing some hacks of it XP
Chaotic_Soma
Hmm, interesting... maybe I should beat the original game so I can start playing some hacks of it XP This. I could stand to play a new-ish game on my psp. *plans to grab it later*

Celice
It seems to have about 65-70% of its levels and objectives finished. It might be out by next year if the author keeps their interest.
Darros
Wow, that looks so much fun! Just looking at that makes me realize how better the graphics are now, I've been playing SM64DS a lot lately.

Celice
A Project Dream... ajjjaajjjjajjaj that would be ajaajjajjajjajaja :D Actually, the composer for Banjo-Kazooie mentioned a lot of info about the early project. Tootie's themesong was apparently the theme song for the elves of the game, and a lot of other things about music were mentioned as well. The level data was also figured out for Banjo-Kazooie, and some demo rooms were drawn up for fun. Ocarina of Time has had a lot of cool stuff done with it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Ne0SCWkXQI As well as new character models and scripts http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FXAxDRG069s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cikgc0zjDKM A lot of beta content has been restored, what little has been found. Several really old models, including an alpha Zora, were restored. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2DYSZVnoNIw http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aBwCt2DZaPI http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FnooZQZKOO8 A third revision for Goldeneye X was released a week or so ago http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MWstIYNvjmg http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-EpWnu9kM6Y http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4yfJsnyVpqM giddy elevator http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iWBki8JhE1s http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=q1N-O8Yb1Gw This was a little bit of random things i remembered off the top of my head. There's a bunch though I had to put them in a code-tag because the forum stupidly tried to make each link open, which at least was not-stupidly restricted (too many loading at once would be blehhhhh) EDIT: Project Dream infos from Grant Edited March 7, 2011 by Celice

Celice
Since someone was interesting in N64 modding, Zelda's been having some alpha data uncovered since the debug rom was released some years ago. Here's the newest functioning uncovered item.
Celice
That Super Star Road thingie is getting close to completion, for those that were interested.
Aleph
Lawdy the level designs are fucking beautiful. I had already seen the one with the Rusty Bucket Bay textures but jeebus these are good. I don't know about difficulty but at least the view and creativity are great. Edited May 29, 2011 by Obviam
