I'm scraping Harken. I'm keeping the story the way it is becuase i couldn't think of a story and i'm new to hacking. May I ask, are you using custom events or at least the tutorial slayer patch? If not, I highly suggest you do, mainly just because it would make your hack so much more better than it already is. May I also just add that splices are much more simpler than customs, and that it would be easier to stick to splices first before you use customs. To make it so you don't rip your head off, he would probably just mean the hackers that are famous in addition to what he said. Not like us average hackers... Anyways, as one of your peers, I feel like it would be good to link you to some tutorials. Custom Events: http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=24222 With inserting portraits it might just be that your portraits exceed 16 colors (including the background,) the portraits are too big, or it's not the right type of file. If you have more complications you can always look through the website for more help, post a question thread, or ask it here. Hope this helped! eclipse Posted March 25, 2011 Share Posted March 25, 2011 My apologies, but those character colors are. . .um. . .making my eyes hurt, to put it bluntly. It looks like you want a lot of black in your hack, but FE7 didn't use particularly dark colors. Perhaps reference some of the people with darker hair for an idea of what a "dark color" is in FE7?
