Good times. But I digress. The characters were rather bland. It felt like I was reading a story about Aran. I certainly hope you improve on this and eagerly await your next installment. You'd probably have more success just ditching the fourth wall. Aaron isn't a 'Guard', he's a heavily-armoured axeman. There is no 'Guard' class. There is no 'class' system. There is no 'system'.
