The group walks in the dead of night, trying to reach the border of Vasaje without incident. But since this is my story, that's not gonna happen... Camila: So what do you know about these armored soldiers? Random Myrmidon: All we know is that they slaughter without saying a word... Camila: I meant do they bear any crests? Random Myrmidon: uh... well Other Myrmidon: He was so scared when he saw them that he fled. Random Myrmidon: S-Shutup! Camila: ...hold on... *the group hides in a thicket as armours go in the opposite direction* Camila: Are those the soldiers you're talking about? Myrmidons: Ya. *Camila leaves the thicket* Camila: Excuse me knights. *The Armors just move past her without a glance* Camila: Okay... ???: May I help you, milady? Camila: And you are? Makhus: I am Makhus, armor general of Lensia. How about you? Camila: I'm a vassal in service to the queen of Vasaje. I'm Camila. Makhus: Charmed. Camila: So may I ask what you were doing in our country? Makhus: I'm afraid that I can't tell you. Your queen would know. Camila: Then I will ask her. *Camila signals the myrmidons to follow her* *Then the armors turned around facing the group* Makhus: *draws blade* I'm afraid I cannot let you return. You know too much. Camila: Huh? Makhus: We recieved word from our master that we had a bit of a spy problem in Castle Vanagate. Someone stole some important documents and witnessed much. Camila: I dare you to prove it was me. Makhus: I don't have to. When I kill you here, there will be no questions asked. Myrmidons guard Camila and take the damage! 28 dmg. Justin attacks Makhus! *Crush activates* 27 dmg. Makhus: ...your not bad. Interesting, i'll have to tell my master this. Camila: What are you talking about, swine? Makhus: Don't worry your pretty little head my dear, we'll meet again. *warps* Camila: WTF?! Justin: ...Do you require a salve? Camila: Huh? Justin: I have a vulnerary on me if you require one. Camila: That would be appreciated. *camila restores 17 Hp: 10 from teh salve and 7 cuz thats as many votes as we got this time around* *The axe-fighter starts to walk away* Camila: Hey! Justin: ...? Camila: You just saved my life! Justin: I'm... sorry... Camila: Why are you sorry? Justin: You're not mad that I intervened? Camila: Why would you think that? Justin: It's... nothing. Camila: Well, I wish you would accompany me to Vasaje. The queen would spare no expense for my safety. Justin: That is not necesary... Camila: I Insist. ///// The party passes throught the borders of neighboring Tyana into Vasaje. They arrived at Duran Castle in the city it was named after, at about dawn. In the town, the myrmidons thanked her and scattered. Justing tried to leave too, but Camila wouldnt have her boytoy (i mean savior, lol) leave her. The two headed for the castle. (inside) Camila: There's noone in the great hall... they must all be in the throne room. Stay here Justin, the queen wont see anyone without invitation... and dont try to escape. Justin: ... *Camila enters and sees the throne empty* Helios: Welcome back Lady Camila! Camila: Duke Helios, where is her majesty? I have much to tell her about Lensia. Helios: The queen is not here. Camila: Where is she? Helios: Not here. Camila: Yeah, that's enough from you. Helios: WAIT! Dont go into the dungeon! Camila: ...I was just gonna go to the bathroom, but now you got me curious. *leaves* (Dungeon) Camila: Huh? *Vasagan soldiers lie wounded in cells* ???: Camila? Camila: Pierre? Pierre: Yes, its me. Austin: Hi Camila! Camila: Prince Austin, Pierre, why is everyone locked up? Pierre: ...It happened only a few hours ago. The queen met with the prime minister of Lensia, and his armor general. I was asked to leave the room, and take teh Prince outside. I heard shouting and assumed that it was nothing but politics, but... Austin: *sniff* dont say it Pierre! Pierre: ...We heard fighting and I led the guards into the room. The queen lay dead. Camila: ... Pierre: Before we could make a move against the minister, he laughed and magically summoned knights to surround us. We fought and fought, but there was no end to them. We were wounded and imprisoned. Camila: But why didnt Duke Helios stop them?! Austin: He betrayed us! I knew I couldnt trust him! Ever since I found kiddy porn in his room! *someones coming* Camila: Here, I'll let you out! //// The Prince and Pierre are in separate cells, and Camila can only open one at a time. Whichever one she opend will affect the story. Austin is a wind sage, who kinda sucks when he starts out, but he's got good growths. his missions will be easier. Pierre is a Halberdier, a veteran knight of Vasaje. His are harder, but he's awesome. In this case, I left the legit ones alone and made a third option LOOK like it was winning, although it'd have no real effect on the final vote.
