The default avatar galleries are really bad, so why not instead fill them FE related things. Alot of people like to use face sprites as avatars, so you could just save them the trouble and have them there. People could also submit graphics or anything fancy they came up with I guess, which could be a good way to get people involved. I don't know, just something that crossed my mind.
