My knowledge of Ys is what Falcom said in Re;Birth 2 and the first 3 hours of Ys VIII (I really should get back to that game), so I didn't recognize him. XD

So Ys 7 plot synopsis iirc xD

Seriously tho, Ys 8 is  amazing. You really should continue it.

The never ending backlong

longer than the very loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong cave

Well, maybe not THAT long. I have four games to play right now: Three Houses, SuperNep, Ys VIII, and my second run of EO Nexus.

I never play a game once, then put it down. I eventually pick them back up and play through all over again, whenever I feel like it. Taking this into account, perhaps my ACTUAL backlog is quite a bit longer than what I initially assumed. Hmm...

I am a specialist in starting and not finishing games because if someone bothers me, I lose motivation quickly.

It took me two years to beat FE10 and Trails Sky FC because I had to motivate myself multiple times.

This is me with many second or third playthroughs. When I get a new game, I dilligently play through it, but when it comes to second and third playthroughs, I am less convicted and play whatever I feel like at that moment in time, with the inevitable result being that I have a lot of unfinished playthroughs. Which I usually need to start over again because I forgot where exactly I was the last time I switched to something else. But when I start a game anew in this way, it feels like I'm playing it for the first time again, so that might be a plus. I think?

... Aaaand my backlog just got longer. Oof...
