Instead, the only Axel English audiences got to know is

Axel: "The Gespenst Mk. III!! Die Beowulf!

Lamia: "Chief Axel, I will fight you."

Axel: "W17! You're a puppet you'reapuppetyou'reapuppetyou'reapuppetyou'reapuppet!"

-Throw in "Deactivate the limiter!" Code: Kirin hopscotch.

In no almost no way was this guy likable. And I didn't even like his battle theme.

I take consolation that there's a fan translated script of A in Gamefaqs to read up. Hail Ahoseru! lol

Which reminds me, I find it dissapointing the person who did it also started one for R... then stopped. Alas...

The story premise sounded okay, individuals who have had dragons enter their bodies due to sorrow. Even if the story apparently didn't work out so well.

To be fair, story in Inti Creates games is more supplementary. It's there to give context to what you do, as the real focus of their games is always the gameplay.

That being said, the Gunvolt series has quite a bit of lore to it which i'm into. It's also why Gunvolt games leave me emotionally broken, except for iX, that's the one game in the series that didn't shatter my heart into a million pieces. Inti had mercy on my emotions with that one.

Tl;dr, Inti can and has written decent stories and characters but that's not really why you're gonna play their games. It's more of a bonus.

If you had a good PC, i woulda told you to get it on PC, since it costs half as much there as on PS4.
Dunno if Ps has sales as often as PC, but sure they have X-mas sales atleast, no?

PS Store has sales pretty often and 3rd party, niche JRPGs are among them pretty frequently, too. That's the greatest thing about loving and playing those games specifically. You always know that someday, sometime, they will go on sale.

not even tbh. They are only for money atm. The only group that matter is the one with money.

SPD, Socialists for the rich people.

You're absolutely right. They're only in it for the money. Every last one of them.
Hey, at least they're finally honest about it, right? >3<

In all honesty, though, when everyone says everything politicians say is nothing but hot air, what they really should do is examine their statements under the following context: "We want money". Magically, everything that comes out of these people's mouths makes a lot more sense that way.

I wouldn't say every one of them is in it for the money. Especially younger ones, those who don't hold (much) Power tend to be more on the idealistic side.

Those in Power however? Yup, Money. And who knows if the younger ones will still hold into their ideals when they grow up or not.

Finally found a bit time to start Valkyria Chronicles 4. Unlike in the first part I figured out how to deal with enemy tanks. That said I will press the wrong buttons sooner or later anyways because I am not good in live action RPGs. They tend to be too hectic. XCOM for being a commanding tactical round based RPG is way more comfortable to play. For some reason female characters have male names (unless I am wrong with Nico's gender).

Call me cynical or jaded, but I fear that once they get a taste of power (or corporate money), they'll get just as corrupt as those who are in power now.
Let's hope these fears are unfounded and they stay true to their word.

I did get Atelier Sophie when it was on sale, too, but that might have been the exception.

That reminds me of the one time i was in power xD

I was the refree at a Voleyball tourney....

My friends after: ''What the hell? Who was that? You aren't like that, what happened with you?'' xD

According to them, i was an asshole (which i am usually not) during those few hours. I didn't notice it tbh xD

I had a friend like that, too. We were playing a Tabletop RPG (not Dungeons and Dragons, but a different one that I don't remember the name of) and he was the Dungeon Master.
Luckily, he could be reeled in before things got too much out of control, but when it got bad, oh boy...

We took turns being Dungeon Masters in our group and the three times I was one before one of our friends moved away and we stopped playing, I learned that I am either a massive troll (one time, I had a dragon appear out of nowhere just to spook them, another time I decided that one of them forgot to dress up before going into battle, so his character got a stat penalty out of shame) or not strict enough (I gave them items that made things easier on them, which they complained about). Bottom line, while I wasn't a tyrant, I wasn't really cut out for the whole leading thing, either.

Just thinking back on it makes me kind of nostalgic... and brings to mind this meme that described us perfectly:

Lmao that image. Could be also perfectly used for all team based games. Remembers Dota

Honestly, i think the main reason i was ''an asshole'' as my friends said was because said friends were one of the main competitors in the tourney, and even reached the final, so i tried to be as unbiased as possible.

Maybe that came off as asshole-ish however, because other groups didn't like me, either xD (or so i heard)

I just hope when some day i hold true power (in work, for example), i don't let it get to my head

I mean, if Neptune herself didn't exist, Nepgear'd be my absolute favorite character in the franchise, so... yeah. I guess that's true.
Though it's actually Nepgya in that picture.

Which reminds me of an observation I've made while playing the Neptunia games I have, excluding SuperNep RPG and Re;Birth 1: the Candidates have much better synergy as a team than the original CPUs, I find. The older sisters lack a healer (Rom, arguably Nepgear), for one, and they don't exactly have someone who can use magic (Ram) or long-range attacks (Uni), either.
I love that little gameplay-story integration, honestly. After all, the Candidates are friends, while the CPUs are friendly rivals, as shown in Re;Birth 2: specifically the scene where the CPUs argue about whose console is better while the Candidates sit and play games together, while peacefully discussing their favorites.
You can tell that scene in particular is one of my favorites.

I'l give you about 72 hours at the max before you wake up and realize that Nepgya has taken over your body.

Doesn't Neptune have a healing skill? Cause i'm pretty sure she does.

But yeah, the Canidates are much more balanced than the CPUs. Though i'm definitly more of an "offense is the best defense" guy so i usually keep the Canidates in the rearguard unless it's ReBirth 2.

I'm impulsive and I wanted to have another game to play while I'm only playing RPG so bought Metroid Prime for the gamecube. Game got such good reviews that I might as well try it. It even has a 97/92 rating on metacritic and yeah I know "metacritic" but when the numbers are that high on both critic/user it tends to be good.

I would love the become Nepgear because that means I can spend time with Histoire!

92 seems like such an arbitrary number to treat as the 100%.

Whoops, I didn't mean to put it like that. My bad.

It was actually 97/92 and what I meant with those numbers is that the critic overall gave it 97/100 while the user score is 92/100.

I played Metroid Prime, but only a little. The furthest I've gone far as past Flaahgra to early Phendrana Drifts. I'm not sure if 3D Metroid is for me, even if I casually like 2D Metroid, albeit I am nothing of a speedrunner type. If I stumbled on the Prime Trilogy Collection, maybe I'd try it again, perhaps the motion controls would be good. Why doesn't Nintendo lazily give these a Switch HD port?

Still MP is something that has long interested me from afar, I had the Nintendo Power game guide for it. And as a result, I've read up on pretty much every installment of the Prime subseries.

-Which reminds me, when will Smash Bros. finally give Samus her Ice Beam? Not even 4's Custom Moves referenced it. Samus could totally use more of her great canon arsenal in her Smash moveset, replace that old Side Smash with a Wave Beam!
