Admiral "Bull" Halsey
I was gonna begin my playthrough for HM(Maniac Mode) but before I do so I was just curious as to exactly how hard is FE10 HM anyways?
Camus The Dark Knight
Enemies have like 5 higher levels, but no stat boosts. Can't view movement. Half bonus EXP. No weapon triangle. Probably some other things I forgot. Overall not that hard, or at least not as hard as FE9 maniac or FE5 or such, but don't go by me since I never seem to find anything hard. A good comparison is FE6 HM, sort of shaky at the start, but otherwise rather easy.
Fireman
I still don't undertand why they got rid of the weapon triangle in Manaic Mode. 1)The weapon triangle didn't provide the player any extreme advantage anyway. 2)No weapon triangle feels so un-Fire Emblem. Also, skills can't even be touched in Part 2. This means Elincia must keep Mercy during that part.
uguu
No more battle saves, although I like that much better than saving whenever you want. ShinKuma
No weapon Triangle man that's gonna suck but I just thought part one was the only one that was harder and the rest just rolled over for me as the same
Camus The Dark Knight
2)No weapon triangle feels so un-Fire Emblem. FE1, 2, and 3 would like to have a word with you. I'll give you 2, but 1 and 3 were the epitome of "Fire Emblem" in a way (I mean in how they play, favorite FE is of course personal preference). Florete
Elincia has mercy. I remember it procced on me, and angry Weisspraline was angry. Not in part 2, she doesn't. Play it again. She gets it in part 4.
Leila
The enemies in my Maniac were much, much harder to deal with... My rules about never letting a character die were nearly broken. Elincia doesn't have Mercy in Part 2. Like Redfoxoffire said, she gets it in Part 4. I have a question, though. Is Maniac mode what you enter when you upload the Path of Radiance data and start a new game? I found that that game and the one I started on my own in Maniac were shockingly similar... Jyosua
Maybe? I'm not sure what happens if you use a PoR Hard mode save.

emmagine
it is ackward cause you keep making plans based on "this guy should be able to take that guy out since he's using an axe." then you finally get to that point square off against him, and find yourself 1-2 points short of killing a very important enemy to protect your weaker ranks, and starting the chapter over ;P
