If Awakening is announced, looks like it'll be on wednesday?

Recommended Posts

In the Nintendo pre-conference that was shown yesterday, the President of Nintendo Satoru Iwata stated that the Nintendo press conference tomorrow will mostly focus on the Wii U, and now we know why:

"Nintendo 3DS will be the focus of an upcoming E3 presentation on Wednesday, June 6.

The presentation will be hosted by Scott Moffitt, the Nintendo of America Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing, and will focus exclusively on 3DS software. The presentation itself is taking place at 6-7 p.m. PT/9-10 p.m. ET at the Los Angeles Convention Center, and is going to be live-streamed by Nintendo.

Although 3DS wasn't totally discounted from Nintendo's E3 presentation tomorrow, this new development suggests that Wii U will likely be taking the entirety of the spotlight."

Awakening could still be announced tomorrow, but if it isn't, then it would be because it would be potentially announced during this conference instead. If it isn't announced there then... yeah.

Perhaps it'll be Wednesday, but it depends on if Nintendo is secretive about what will be showcased at that event. There's still the people visiting their booth on the show floor, and their's also the press website that details all the games present at E3. I don't know how Nintendo will handle things this year, but we may find out tommorow.
