In the last three years, I've experienced little but false praise, betration, and torment from my fellows in the community(not necessarily in that order). I've been used, abused, and kicked to the curb either for not being a slave as people want me to be, or for daring to have my own opinion and fighting for it. Spriters, hackers, mappers, all of it. It is nothing but a flock of sanctimonious self-righteous assholes who lord their false superiority over their lessers, surround themselves with sycophants, and beat down anybody with the courage to try and break the cycle. Spriting was a fun hobby for the last three years. But alas, all good things come to an end. Reality sets in and you realize what you put on a pedestal ain't all it is cracked up to be. No sense in wasting time of my life in something that only brings me pain. I've tried quitting before, but always got sucked back in. Like an addict's relapse. The only solution is complete severing of contact with FE related. The friends I've made whom I discuss non-FE related things will stay in my contacts as FE is only how I met them, and not why I talk to them. For those of you who have gotten joy at my expense these last few years(you know who you are). I hope it was worth it to you.
