OK seems like I figured out what the problem is. When the Nadesico spawns, METEOR freedom also spawns yet Kira in this case was piloting the Astray so I guess something happened that the game didn't like and it killed itself.

Total turn count: 419 turns

Valzacard

4 HP - 15 EN - 7 armor - 5 mob - 15 weapons

335 kills. Once again the Banpresto about doubles the killcount number two provides. In part 2, I never used the Valstork and Valhawk separately, if I could, and just had them in Valguard mode. It ran without any hp/armor upgrades right up to endgame as I chose to focus on getting upgrades on other mechs first (because the banpresto guys were doing just fine with what they had)

Tekkaman blade

15 EN - 6 mob - 15 weapons

167 kills. Blade was one of the more useful part 1 guys, but in part 2 ended up being pretty much a standard grunt with a heavy bosskiller attack. The kills he got in part 2 are comparable to those gotten by Hiver and Sommer. Mind you that he ran with low weapon upgrades in part 1, and got some serious investments in that department when he became available in part 2. In conclusion, do I think he's worth a first round draft? I'm kind of in dubio regarding that, but I'd definitely place him in the first or second draft bracket.

Tekkaman Vesna

15 EN - 7 mob - 15 weapons

160 kills. Mind you she only has part 2 and she got almost as many kills as a very good unit got in twice the playtime. Vesna isn't about anything but her MAP attack. Ok, and she can be used in a combination attack with hiver and Sommer or Blade, both of which are admittedly very powerful as far as those things go. But a MAP attack with 5 blocks of tiles in a circle, with no friendly fire, that can be placed in a circle with an 8 tile radius? One that hits for 18K damage with Valor? Yes please. While it isn't the most damaging per hit, I do consider it to be the most powerful MAP attack in this game. I'd personally draft Vesna as a first or second draft.

Tekkaman Sommer

15 EN - 7 mob - 15 weapons

57 kills. Her performance is basically Blade's, limiting itself to part 2. The amount of kills she got is a good score. Sommer needs some weapon range extending part but is a pretty good mech all around. As far as the tekkamen go, I'd pick up Sommer after I've picked up Vesna

Tekkaman Hiver

15 EN - 9 mob - 15 weapons

63 kills. See Sommer and part 2 Blade. Just like Sommer, I'd draft him after acquiring Vesna

Wing Zero

15 EN - 9 mob - 15 weapons

146 kills. Fourth on my kill count list if we ignore Blessfield's performance in part 1. I don't think I regret upgrading him as much as I did in part 1, the only thing I did end up sort of regretting is only giving him one support attack item, instead of two or three for buster rifle support attack 10k damage per hit spam. His MAP attacks became less useful in part 2 because Tekkaman Vesna was there, but that doesn't mean I never used them. His availability hurts him in part 2.

But. All in all I think the Wing Zero is worth being a third draft.

Volfogg

10 EN - 7 mob - 10 weapons

115 kills, which means he ended up getting 50 kills in part 2. I suspect he had the largest availability of all my draftees, yet also has pretty mediocre results. Not having Focus didn't matter as much as I thought it would. Definitely not worth the second draft and the attack that makes the enemy barrier get ignored for a turn isn't _as_ phenomenal as I thought it would and generally didn't seem to lead to a turncount reduction. Definitely not a second pick

Nadesico Y-Unit/Alstromeria

5 EN

65 Kills. Which means no kills in part 2. Not suprising, considering the join time and lolbattleship.

Tallgeese

15 EN - 9 mob - 15 weapons

63 kills. It's not that the Tallgeese is a bad mech, in my opinion, cause when I factor in the availability he had, he did pretty good in the time he had. He also had part 1 luck, which would have been useful, had I found out.

Astray Blue Frame

5 EN - 6 mob - 15 weapons

45 kills. Good mech all around, just takes very long to become available, performance is beneath the part 2 tekkamen and I kind of regret picking him as early as I did.

SolTekkaman 1

5 EN - 10 mob - 15 weapons

28 kills. Regret not picking SolTekkaman 2 over this one, because 2 has part 1 and this one only part 2. In any case though, it did low damage and required quite a bit of mobility upgrades to make the dodge reliable. It's pretty much a filler unit. But I do have to say, the maps in part 1 where he's forced, he's actually pretty useful.

GINN Elijah Custom

9 mob - 13 weapons

27 kills. He did alright as far as late game filler units go.

M1 Astray

9 mob - 10 weapons

25 kills with Kira, 2 kills with Cagalli. Also an alright endgame filler.

Moebius Zero

3 EN - 7 mob - 10 weapons

19 kills. It was pretty mediocre because it had trouble dodging.

Nadesico C

5 EN

17 kills. Battleship.

HOME

no upgrades

7 kills. Basically used as the occasional bless and repair/resupply bot.

Boss Borot

no upgrades

Regret not putting Sayaka in this one. Part 1 and most of part 2 was Boss. Early Bless would have been useful though.

GINN Murakumo Custom

no upgrades

Couldn't even use it because Murakumo was busy flying the Blue Astray and this thing is locked to him.

If I had used Sayaka's Bless and Zech's Luck in part 1 I would have maxed out all the weapons but the battleships. But yes, in part 2 I made a point of finishing off bosses (there's usually two or three clumped together on the same map) with Vesna's MAP on Bless. Sometimes I even took out large amounts of grunts on Bless.

If it wasn't for some other stuff coming up I'd be finished with this Draft by now. I just need to do Stage 44+.

Also even though I didn't draft him, I still wound up unlocking Nicol and Duel, it's almost as if he's taunting me.

I'm still gonna complete, I just get easily distracted. Since I don't remember what I have or haven't posted, recap of my turncount.

Chap1 = 3 turns.

Chap2 = 7 turns.

Chap3 = 7 turns.

Chap4 = 6 turns.

Chap5 = 16 turns.

Chap6 = 9 turns.

Chap7 = .... when I saved the game at the end, it said only three turns. Since I'd left off after starting it some time ago and thus have no idea if that's accurate at the moment.... 3 turns.

I'm pretty certain you mixed these three up. Hiver is the light-pinkish one with a female pilot and the Uber-MAP attack. Vesna is the purplish-pink one with the other female pilot, while Sommer is the one with the male pilot. wink.gif

I google image searched them all and got basically the same pictures for all of them, so yea I could have mixed them up.
