Gunlord Posted May 23, 2010 Author Share Posted May 23, 2010 Well, as I've mentioned to another reviewer, it's implied that the death of his best friend really wreaked havoc on Renault's psyche. The Civil War arc is gonna continue for some time, but you'll see ;) It also has something to do with what Nergal mentioned in his battle conversation with Renault--apparently, Nergal, to some extent, held up his end of the bargain, since he asks Renault, "wasn't that what you wanted?" when Renault accuses him of cursing his dead friend. Next chappie will be out on Jan 1, hopefully...assuming Vindictus doesn't distract me too much. XD Really though, I think this chappie might be the best I've written overall, so far. If ch. 22 took things up to 11, this chapter takes things up to 15! Even if you haven't read the rest of the story at least give this one a look, although it's full of some important deaths and spoilers. I'm really frustrated...I couldn't finish the latest chapter of WS just in time for my schedule, though I came very close (it's now only 5 hours after midnight on Jun. 2 where I am). Still, I'm only a *tiny* bit late this time, as opposed to really late like a little while ago. I suppose I kinda let my readers down this time, but not too much. If you set a schedule but don't manage to keep it, you'll really lose readers :/ Still, it wasn't that bad...I suppose I should've expected it considering that my last chapter was *mad* late. So if this chappie was only a little late, the next one will be out on time.
