Agro Posted November 19, 2008 Share Posted November 19, 2008 I like your colouring. In my opinion, however, the drawings themselves are not as great. I think you need to work on giving your characters posture to reflect their mood. As it is, SE!Cymbeline looks as though she's a bit grim, but her body position is nothing but straight and standing still. On the same drawing, the third "ring" (for lack of better word) of lighting should not exist, as it is on the inside of her hair. Part of the second "ring" (the back part of her hair) shouldn't be coloured in the same way her bangs are, since they're not on the same plane. While I can appreciate art style, I think you need to be improve on your drawings for now. Colouring isn't really your priority, as you've already laid down the groundwork for that.
