It's not a Radiant Dawn Reference...originally. English fans would take it that way. It's an FE9 reference... a JAPANESE FE9 reference. Blue flames were never in the English release until Radiant Dawn. Ike's title was "the hero of the blue flames" in Japanese, starting from FE9, I believe. Also, "hero of the blue flames" is also the Japanese title of Priam's chapter, IIRC. And that makes me think about Radiant Dawn's Japanese title approximately meaning "Goddess of the Rising Sun" or something along those lines...
