His complete lack of Galeforce means he might get stuck in a pair-up bot role, in which he excels. In that case, Armsthrift is about all he wants -- Brave Axe Berserker with LB/AT/AS+2/Aggressor/Axefaire will hit insanely hard. Access to Vantage, Armthrift, Sol, and amazing classes such as Hero is worth the damn. Vantage Sol is the big selling point of this pairing though. Donnel: Warrior overlaps with Yarne's Barbarian, however, Armthrift and Sol are pretty amazing Gaius: Vantage and Sol. Same as Gregor, a bit worse because the speed is overkill And of course, the DG+'es heres the summary of each of them Stahl: Gaining Vantage, Luna, Dual Guard+, Aegis. This Yarne is damn good, although more on the new skills, and less on class versatility Ricken: If you want to go a bit more on Magical route(which is fine since Yarne has +3 SPD, +4 with Ricken) this is a solid choice. Frederick: Frederick is simmilar to Stahl in which he gives Pavise and Aegis instead of Vantage and Aegis. Frederick's real selling point over the other DG pluses are his acces to Wyvern Rider, which means Yarne did not need to choose between Deliverer, Lancebreaker, or Swordbreaker. The mods are pretty rad too(+2 STR and +2 SKL, while +3 SPD canceled out Fred's -2 SPD) Kellam: A middle line beetwen Ricken and Frederick. Yarne gained a Magical class(War Monk and Sage) and Pavise. If you want to go Dread Fighter, this might be the best Yarne(IMHO this is the best Yarne though).
