For this chapter I developed special tactic. Greatest, and best tactic even made. You will be surprised.

Vanessa go forward and kill everyone. Everybody who is not Vanessa received short order " SYA* ".

For now not many enemies, but Vanessa need healing. That's bad!

Who needs STR, when she double everybody with Steel Lance?

At the end I get Guiding Ring(because I won't have any archer, because they suck), so I can promote Gilliam, who gets many level up in this chapter

( torch, you know).

Now, he is nice unit. Still has low speed( he get doubled by quicker enemy), but now he has decent defense, even better HP and nice attack power.

He will be really helpful in next chapters.

Seth is much, much worse than in original. He double only really slow enemies, don't have much defense and his STR isn't really helpful when he don't double. No enemy phase and low speed of gaining EXP makes him almost useless. After getting Duessel and Cormag he won't get wasting my deploy slot.

Best of my three filers. She has so good stats on her level, because when I modified her bases I forgot about add her some levels. She is quick, durable and hit hard, but after many levels her DEF would be probably low(15%) and she will be glass canon. But glass canon in game when not many guys do ORKO is always nice.

Kyle is just Colm on lower level and with better growth.

And here is such great Mercenary! Doubles everything with everything because 11 CON! Very nice growth and not bad bases makes him good. Only issue is durability. 28 HP/6 DEF is low for this run, but after promotion...

Ephraim. Best GBA lord in best T2 class. Need to say more?

And now two useless knight. Both have bad bases and both don't have defense growth. Lute would be super shitty in any class( 45% HP and 15% DEF? It was bad even in normal HM), but Garcia... I believe if I would make him myrmidon he would be much, much better (maybe even my top tier unit).

Low bases, not so good growth( 30% SPD? LOL). Only hope for him is tower training, but I don't think that's good idea.

His bases is veary similar to Joshua bases and he has nice growth, but he has high chance to get 9 DEF on 20/20, so I have dilemma: use or not.

Another nice filer. She has worse stats than Joshua, but better growth and support with Colm. She needs tower training.

Really nice support to Natasha. He isn't really quick now, but in future he probably will be even better with high AS. Probably I will promote him first. Also he need some EXP.

Shitty bases, awful CON and dark magic. If he would have so good SPD growth I wouldn't use him.

Solid bases and good growth. Good damage (you know, axes), decent durability, support with Neimi and that speed! Only issue is low skill, but for now that isn't problem. I'm wonder who will get first hero crest: Colm or Forde?

Winged Goddess of Destruction. Awesome SPD, DEF, RES and MOVE. Acceptable STR and HP. She does what Seth should. In these chapters there is no way to kill her.

I have many ideas to reaclass Cormag. His bases and growth are nice so I thought to make him priest for making him my second, better healer (gray sage would look awesome), but that mean really early promotion, what isn't nice. I also thought abut making him cavalier, but locking him to 24 max speed isn't nice. Mercenaries and fighters don't have good promotion for him. Of course I cloud make just pool for him, but that would be boring, so I make him...

Yes, he is ranger. In normal FE8 ranger is really good class, because WTC isn't really important, but in this run rangers are a little bit worse, because every point of hit and avoid is important, but still, they are really solid class. Good class, good promo gains (extra point of def/res is really nice for Forde) and awesome movement! He can cross even water and he has 2 move on desert and better move on forest than paladins, great kights, mage knights... Even if they are sword/bowlocked they are my favorite class in this game.

First: Promote Ephraim.

I choose GK, because even if Paladins are better overall, GKs caps can be really important in some harder chapters, like this.

Also, try to imagine how powerful would be unit in LA which can wield both Siegmund and Garm!

I pick only this unit which aren't made of paper, so I have (of course)Ephraim, Vanessa and Duessel.

Duessel almost killed by those annoying Paladins.

L'Arachel is recruited.

Vanessa, as always do what no one other can do.

Main reason, why she don't even uses elixir in this chapter.

Duessel again almost killed. He is one of the weakest of my promoted unit, but still much, much better that chump like Neimi.

That was the hardest chapter since "Victim of War". I'm a little worried "Father and Son", but now I have Dozla (with triple C), so maybe that won't be bad.
