Promotion items don't work for my custom class

So, I've got this class. And I wanted to give it a promotion. So I did.

However, I'm having a bit of a problem making it actually promote to that class. Earth seals don't work, and I don't think I have the ability and experience to make a custom promotion item for it. I've messed around with the Promotion Item and Promotion Pointer editors, but I just can't figure out how to do this.

Any help would be much appreciated.

Knowing the class ID would help. Also adding it is not that hard, IIRC you just find the offset of the list and either replace one of the existing classes to be promoted there with a new one (using a hex editor of course) or you can repoint it and then do it. But it still qualifies as tier 1 hacking IMO lol I should invent legit tiers for hacking: tier 1 - nightmare, FEditor text and portraits, HxD, patching, other easy utilities | tier 2 - FEditor Adv animations, GBA GE general graphics, events, advanced patching and hex editor logic | tier 3 - ASM, advanced graphics with custom TSA | tier 4 - Xeld/Hextator, Nintenlord, and other hacking legends tier - cannot be described

I'm using the Prince (Tactician) class ID for the base class (aka 0x51) and one of the Empty (Make a custom class!) ones for the promotion (0x61).

I think I've understood what I have to do. Thanks!

IIRC, the 3 'Empty (Make a custom class!)' entries are not empty, they are used for rescuing animations. You should use another ID or expand the table.
