Chrom pairing with olivia help

So i want olivia x chrom

sumia x henry

however henry doesnt appear until chapter 13 so wll chrom could easily marry sumia.

It is possible to get chrom and olivia to suport S in 1 chaptor?

Also to make the two become any support rating you have to go into the support menu and then select talk... So if you dont do that do they still hve a support rating....

For example in m case.... Chapter 6 and already sumia and chrom can have support C, however i have not made them tlk in the support menu so does this mean if i get olivia to support C BUT make themtalk will chrom marry livia?

Im confused... please try to explain

If Chrom already has a support (c or higher) with any female (besides Lissa), he cannot marry Olivia.

If you didn't complete the C support (saw the convo) then it is possible.

He has to collect 18 support points with Olivia (for example 3 kills with Olivia as his support), he will marry Olivia.

What Lexington said, really, but I'd like to add a few more details.

The best way to make sure Olivia gets married to Chrom is to first, keep all of his potential wives away from him in battle. That's Sully, Maribelle, Female Avatar and ESPECIALLY Sumia. Keep him paired with either Frederick, Vaike, Gaius, Lissa or a Male Avatar to ensure he doesn't gain any supports with the girls.

If he somehow DOES manage to unlock a support with one of the listed four, do not view it. This will lock Olivia out of marrying Chrom.

During Chapter 11, there are several ways to make sure they have enough points for a relationship. One way is by moving Chrom and Olivia to a corner of a map and have her dance for him repeatedly. Another is by getting a hold of a few Seeds of Trust (there's one as a Renown award, you can occasionally pick one up in an event tile, and if you have the Summer Scramble DLC, there's loads of them), and using them. Chrom has access to the convoy at all times, so you can easily pull them from them. Another is by making Chrom take on a good 1/2 - 3/4 of the enemies with Olivia as a pair up partner.

Choose a method that fits you best and have at it, my friend.

You can't see any of their supports in-game, you have to view them in the support log.

Chrom will propose to her at the end of the battle in a special scene.

If you look at the link from Lexington's post, it tells you the exact criteria you need to fulfill. You need 18 support points, which can be accrued by multiple methods. 3 battles is simply the easiest to describe (and equivalent to 3 kills if they each only take one battle). Killing half the enemies is overkill. In fact you could kill zero enemies with Chrom/Olivia if you have her dance 9 times (or other ways too). Vincent did very thorough testing to understand the rules and conditions, so you don't need to take our word for it.

Chrom auto-marries Olivia if you do things right; and there are no support conversations to unlock. They instantly go to S rank. You can view the conversation in the Support Log after you've beaten the game for the first time.

Sumia is capped support but hasnt had the convo

So if i cant have convo in the chapter then olivia will never marry chrom as her support level will be the same as Sumias ?

Again, I refer you to the link Lexington provided:

Special case 1: If Chrom has obtained at least 18 points with Olivia (after rounding to the nearest 9) and hasn't obtained a C support level with any of his other marriage candidates, he will marry Olivia.

Olivia will take precedence because she is a special case specifically built into the game.

ok thanks for the info i will do that but u know on the chrom marry priority list... How come olivia is second last if she takes priority over sumia?

Good question. :)

You actually cannot use that list to compare Sumia and Olivia, because Olivia's special case will override the priority. However, depending on which candidates are already married, the priority list could come into play.

Example: If Sumia is married, Olivia has 9 points, and everyone else has 0, Chrom will marry Sully, because she is unmarried and has highest priority. Even though Olivia has more support points built up, she is exactly tied for the number of points remaining until C rank is achieved, so the priority list takes over.

So it still makes sense to put Sumia at the top of the list because she beats Sully who beats Olivia, even though the winner between Sumia/Olivia will never come down to using the priority list.
