[.][X] The result: While I do have another description I can use, I have a bit longer (a word or two) description for the final boss' weapon, so I will need to know how to fix this at that time. Anyone who's played with the Mario Kart Double Dash promo items can tell you that IS fucked up and left cut-off item descriptions in the actual unedited ROM too. If so, then it's rather the localizer's failure to double-check that some esoteric items have correct item descriptions, after their translation. Cut-offs are fairly common translation errors amongst professional and fan game translations alike, as there are often obscure things that are easily overlooked. I have no doubts that is exactly what happened. That was not my point and if it's anyone's concern it's theirs. At least, 10 years ago it was.
