X and Y Gym Leader Poll!

For those who have beaten the game or those currently collecting the gym badges, which gym leader have you been enamored by?

My vote is with Valerie, the Fairy Type Gym Leader. I love her design as well as her gym. She is just so adorable!

It was a decision between Valerie, Korrina, and Wulfric, but since I didn't like the latter two's gym and loved Valeries, I went with Valerie.

Viola, Grant, Korrina or Wulfric because it actually feels like they have some involvement in the game and just don't exist.

Or Clemont to a lesser extent.

I just loved her badass battle stance the last time you fight her, and also she has an important role in the story.

Gym Leaders this gen seem a little underwhelming for me. Gen 4 still had the best Gym leaders.

The ones that stand out for me are Korrina, Grant (for cracking his neck like a boss), Clemont's little sister and Wulfric (who I haven't even met yet but idgaf).

I liked that Gen 5 had most of the gym leaders do something, so the ones that never showed up elsewhere felt pretty disappointing. I like Viola's gimmick though, and the Battle Maison thing was pretty funny.

I loved the fairy gym,

all the trainers were adorable and doll-like and it was in a doll house.

None of the leaders wowed me other than Valerie because her gym and the trainers in there looked really nice. Valerie herself has a nifty design.

I feel like I'm alone in thinking Valerie's gym wasn't that cool- I think it was the one I liked the least by a lot. Sabrina already did the warp panels, and I feel like all it really had going for it was looking pretty.

Olympia's gym was the single greatest Mushroom Samba I've done in a game since Mother 3.

The Fairy gym is legit Sabrina's gym rehashed. Which was depressing.
