Just wondering if anyone on this forum writes songs. Here's part of one I'm writing right now. There are chords and riffs here, because I can't be bothered to take them all out.

If by write, you mean lyricism, then yes. Only, in a different genre

Lyrics, the musics just there because I'm too lazy to get rid of it. What genre do you write, and what genre did you think mine was?

I do, although I tend to do full instrumentation, writing my work out in full.

I do a lot of Hip-Hop, thoughI'm trying to branch out to something else. From the moment I saw "power chord", I assumed you're in a rock band?

I do full writing with some pieces, especially if I'm doing something orchestral, but for this, since i don't know that much about drums, i leave them out of it. and yeah, it was rock.
