like, actually brom and gatrie would be amazing because very few units could double them and they would both have 32 def plus supports.

well at least knight ward level ups are still within the confines of the game...

under the current conditions i think the units that are really good at first glance are:

ike - well rounded, can't be doubled, earth affinity, and aether.

zihark - great offensive stats, 30 spd, innate adept (which i would take over astra because it has a higher activation rate), innate 15 crit, earth affinity, and not terrible defensively. his support options are pretty bad, though.

neph - innate wrath, pretty solid durability, and only doubled by SMs.

stefan - pretty much the same as zihark, except with worse support options.

largo - okay so he has like no defense, but excellent offensive parameters and innate 15 crit.

rolf - can't be doubled, innate 15 crit, also can't really be countered, but it works both ways.

brom - i would consider him only because he has huge def and he supports both neph and zihark. if he can max spd with the knight ward, then he also wouldn't be doubled by a lot of units and be even more impenetrable.

too bad tauroneo's spd is crap, otherwise he would be pretty good with innate resolve. even with knight ward levels, though, he'd only hit 25 spd after resolve. also this game doesn't really have that many support circles that are usable, either. pretty much none of the laguz are usable in this setting.

Yeah, I noticed Nephenee and Zihark being nice choices for this, but their supports turned me down. I won't tell what my current team is yet though, since it's fate is uncertain.
