MP3's are not fully supported. They work, but there aren't loop points. MP3 format sucks anyway, learn to use the smaller and better quality Ogg format.

Final boss animations, not yet but SOON. Yeti is adding the pre-battle and post-battle animations at some point, meaning you can have the screen flash for weapons like FE7 does for Armads/Sol Katti/Durandal and etc, and you can also make the bosses fade in and appear, like the DK and Dragons do as endgame bosses.

Some of us actually offered to help pay for it but got completely ignored or told that their assistance wasn't needed, so... NO COMPLAINING!!!

it would probably not be too difficult to write something that translated romhacking event scripts into fexna data

if i was good enough at coding to write a proper text parser (and/or had a copy of fexna ~'3'~) i would probably just do it as a side thing

It's worth asking-- will the non-GBA-standard animations be free to use for community projects once FEXNA hits public release? Whether or not I have access to things like the alternate-weapon knights and new T0 units is going to inform certain design choices.

...with credit where it's due, of course.

TBA made alternate weapon knights a while ago.

Check this thread. They're in there somewhere.

@Ninja Penguin, are you refering to FE7x's armours (lieutenants, phalanxes, and zweihanders ), and by extension, all of yeti and team's animations, or just GBA knight edits like the ones TBA made linked to in the post above? If the latter, they'll be useable one someone inserts them. If the former, it's a separate issue, maybe not directly linked to FEXNA

There are duplicates for various yeti!class variants. The phalanx/zweihander won't be in fexna official release. Whether yeti chooses to release those later on is up to him.

One neat thing will be that you'll be able to format a class into a "package" and send that package to someone else. Two button clicks and they can install it into their copy of fexna. In this way, even if we don't get all the classes added or remove some, they can be added as seperate downloadable packages later on, much like how FEditor has packages.

And before anyone asks the question, NO, FEditor package importing won't be doable. FEXNA packages are their own entity entirely.
