At least this time I sent people down there to clear out the pirates. Roy and Marcus could use some backup though... Safe! Meanwhile the B team is doing much better. At the time I did this doubling Bartre's votes wouldn't save him. Echidna route it is. bleck Solid finish. I'd use a save state to rig if the boss wasn't a critwhore. Good lord. The bromance reaches its final conclusion! Speaking of bros... Look at those stats! He makes the boss look like a pansy in comparison! THE RETURN OF MOONING With that hit rate I couldn't resist. That said, I ended up making a save state here for a couple of reasons. Like so. Meanwhile, the ballista has finally been disarmed. I'm glad this has five more uses than the other reavers, I'll need them. Not a good first impression there, Speedy... All is forgiven. You, on the other hand... And then I made a mistake fighting the fighter reinforcements close to the boss and Clarine ended up getting attacked. I got sent all the way back to that choke point. Some good did come out of it, though. (Ward and Zealot's levels are unchanged) That's better, Geese. Show them all who the fowlest of really is! Or better yet, a demonstration! Here, the foulest of seafowl. And here, the fowlest of seafowl. Okay, that goof up was a blessing in disguise. I've only had two supports to build between the standing army. I was bored. Speedy Gonzales is catching up nicely, Goose's last level-up was better, Ward's a freaking tank, Lot's good enough as is, Echidna needed luck and Marcus is still going strong. [spoiler=This would have come earlier if it weren't for Midnight Sun] I hate the deployment limit on this map. But anyway. MY TREASURE!!! Chest Keys: 1 Thieves: 0 While the Invincible Warrior Bros. stomp the upper half of the map (to be joined by the magnificent Father Saul), Clarine will light the way through the middle. Obligatory axe misses, on both sides no less. Roy's actually pretty useful for dealing with Myrmidons! Most of the time. Enemy Sages and Druids are cheating fucks. At least he ain't healing this off. CHEST[KEY]CEPTION But for the most part this was a boring chapter, at least until the end. 36 Crit on a Silver Axe. But hey, he only has 82 Hit! How bad can it be? [spoiler=really bad] Simultaneously the most hilarious and frustrating RNG moment I've ever experienced. But this time I'm using save states mid-chapter so I had a little fun. Next time... Buff pls ballista 2 UP TO THE MOUNTAINS No axes until FE9 sadly =( But I'm still gonna promote her because I have plenty of these and fuck the captain of the princess's guard being a tier 1 it makes her look bad. These promoted mooks will do wonders for everyone's exp gain. *GASP* The Rapier is effective against something! Now Echidna can have the CON to use axes! Begone, shrimps! And then Percival and his men flee like cowards. But more importantly... The Mountain King's feast begins! (though it's not much of a feast if you ask me...) If Echidna wasn't already one of the men she is now. HAHAHAhahaha fuck you game. Half a chapter's worth of time later... Foregone conclusion at its finest. Geese's level was good because the save state came right before it. Echidna's was better before the crit wipe. Gonzale's levels were unanimously better after it. The next two chapters won't be fun...
