And yeah, I don't believe Rescue rank is required to get through the main story (although IIRC it might be needed in post game to access certain dungeons....then again I haven't played this in years, so don't quote me on that). Ciarre Posted June 2, 2014 Share Posted June 2, 2014 Okay, here's what I did for VBA: 1. Go to Options -> Emulator -> Save Type, and make sure it's set to Flash 128K 2. (dunno if this was a factor) While in Options -> Emulator, set Real Time Clock 3. Find the .sav file of PMD, and delete it. 4. Start a new game. Yeah, this is the suckiest of them all, but the save wouldn't take until I did this. I think it's similar for other emulators, but I'm not certain (change save type, delete old .sav file, restart).
