When I have time after studying I could try putting peoples palettes on different classes. Think I'm gonna start with solider

22 classes done! I did an additional 18 classes last night (Holy shit!) because I decided to skip the charting of the results until I'm done ripping the images. Feast your eyes on my current results! Also you will need 7zip to unzip the file.

About the thiefs. Isn't it possible to add Chest Keys and Door Keys to HEctor and/or the thiefs ?

I always do that manually, personally, but I discussed with Ephraim adding an if event that checks if either are thieves and if not, giving them both one door key and hector a chest key.

The palettes are finished! All classes are done (And 90% through I realized the palette labeled "Vaida" in the 2A slot was actually Teodor. More bugs caught by klok >.>) and now I have to graph the 5,600+ cells in the spreadsheet YAY!

This zip contains a save with Hector mode unlocked for your convenience and the program itself. To use it, run it, type in a filename for the text file and hit enter. Then take the text file to Event Assembler and use it on your ROM.

This tool gives each character, including lords but excluding thieves, Ninian, Nils and Athos a random class from a selection of twenty as well as a different inventory and weapon levels to match their new class. This can cause the game to become extremely hard or even unwinnable - it is random, after all! Note that Lyn mode is unaffected because I hate Lyn mode.

Please try it, and if anything strange happens, let me know~

EDIT : Made it worked. How comes Marcus have a max Skill as a Swordmaster ?. That's awesome but wierd...

The way the GBA FEs work is that character class is based off of chapter data, so if Ephraim didn't touch the chapter data for Lyn's mode, the character classes won't have changed.

Welp there goes getting those sweet extra levels from Lyn's mode T_T Am I correct under the assumption that even if you randomize if you play Lyn's mode first all characters from her mode will remain in their original classes once you continue to Eliwood or Hector's modes?

That's also what I'd want to know actually.

I don't know if it is possible, but a way that madeit impossible for units to have the same class as the original would be good.

I had Guy as a Fighter and Lucius as a Pirate with their animation always turned off. What exactly is causing that ?

Are soldiers able to promote now ?

I just had a Eli Lord Serra with broken Res who became 20 after a level up...

Strange, it didn't did that to me... (I hadn't obtained a Sniper yet, though...)

Even with Mani Katti, it's impossible on Hard Mode (and even Esasy Mode is horrible)

EDIT : OK, I know what was the problem with Guy and Lucius. Since they have a unique animation, they will use the same animation no matter what classes they are in. I think it's the same thin for the other uniques (like Harken)

Fiora makes the game freezes. I guess Farina is in a similar cases, depending where she arrives.

Unless there's a way to fix this, this must be better to let them unreclassed.

Right, I forgot, Fiora tries to walk past water tiles to appear on the map. The way to fix that would be to edit this section of the text file:

The palettes are funky too, but oh well, thanks for your work anyway.

By the way, Eliwood, Hector, and Lyndis have shitty bases like that because they just use their class bases and don't have any character additions. Marcus has a WTF skill stat because that's all he really focuses on.

I also wonder how the forced Promotion will happen, since Lords can promote using regular promoting Items.

As a Swordmaster, he actually start with Skill maxed.
