The next chapter is where it gets FUN though :D P.S. You should've gotten that Heavy Spear. IIRC they're really good in the next coming chapters. Kill them for a good item, basically. They are actually usually beatable without savestates (Oswin with a Slim sword would have done the trick there) but savestates especially make them trivial.
