Dolphin Users without working AR codes? Look here!

Recommended Posts

New user here. Hello all.

Before I get too far into this, can this generator make a file able to display clear data status of 1 or more? I ended up starting a HM file in a different slot than my clear data, and really wish to complete HM with all the extras (especially since I already have everything set up and ready to go, but stuck on 3-13 due to my error).

I already attempted to use the Gecko codes, but for some reason it will not work to change the clear data (although there were a bunch that DID work, yet not that one).

You'll probably just have to start over. Load a save from GameFAQs and then go from there. Sorry.

I'll be honest, I have no clue how to make a control enemies code, nor how the Always Perfect Level-Ups code works...

All you have to do is find the pointer in the character data for allegiance. Follow that address. Each side is in 0xC blocks, with the last 32-bit value one being a value of 0-3. 0=blue, 1=red, etc. Change 1 to 0 and all reds will be blue. Best to save state when using it, as suspending or battle saving will make it permanent.

Pretty sad I've taken Computer Architecture in college, but still can't get this to work.

Maybe Mac Dolphin memory addresses work differently?

Is it possible to make the Florette function like a magic sword? I'd be over the moon if that was doable.

i remembered seeing the modifier code for florette in some forums, but with those codes i have it'd be too easy to get the game doned, so i wasnt intersted enough to make a modifier code for florette, but it was do-able

Uh, I'm not entirely sure if it's frowned upon if I post in this thread, as I guess it could be necroing. But I've gotten the code creator installed, it runs and everything. But then I realized I've got the PAL version of the game. So it's essentially useless to me.

All I wanna do is get some inf stat boosters in my game and the google doc thing is immensely confusing and just extremely overwhelming.

Anyone able to help a brotha out?

Hi guys,

I just wanna ask, is there a code to modify the number of times you've played the game (on Dolphin)? I want to use the code to recruit Pelleas and Sephiran.

I've seen that code on Gecko Codes, but it doesn't work on Dolphin. I've also heard you have to subtract/add some numbers in order for the code to work on Dolphin. My problem is, I don't know how to convert Gecko codes into AR codes on Dolphin...

Forgive me if this has been mentioned before. :D

Thanks in advance!

0284E030 00000199

I just load, take off the itens from laura and give to everyone else but the blessed items dissapear after one batlle...

Could someone point me what i am doing wrong?

Edit:

Nvmd, got it

Edit2:

Hmmm, seens that part 2 has different adresses than part1, i found nephenee start adress for items:

04851E3C

If part 3 is different again and if i get there this time, played dozens of times this game, so i don't mind not finishing on the emulator...I post here the starter adress of somebody if you guys want it

I'm playing the European version of RD on Dolphin 4.0.2, does anyone have the (m) AR code & working '+1 all stats every level up' (obviously battle only, not with bexp) code?

Doubt anyone is checking this anymore, but I don't suppose anyone could point me in the direction of how to find out character codes? I found that Maurim is AWOL on my list, because the RDCC generates codes for Vika when I select maurim, but when I select Vika no one I can see gets anything. Otherwise this code generator is awesome.

Hmmm, who would know...I made a calculator back in the day, or i changed the thing, i don't remember, well i do remember is that the 2 last sheets i made it because it was not in english...

I translated it for you people to use...better, to figure it out because i don't remember what i did, but i remember is that when i made the thing it became very easy to find adress for anything char related:

... okay so i don't know how to upload things on the forum...It would be nice if someone who knows how to do it, upload on the forum for safekeeping:

http://www.filedropper.com/fe10todolphincalculatorenglish

And let me look for the codes that i use... Okey, here:

Ok so , please pay attention to this first, you can't use the same char codes TOGETHER, you have to use one, take the things you want, save-turn off the one you just used and turn on another.

It get´s obvious as you see what exactly the code does, for example on Laura 7 all the item slots of Laura will be full of items so be sure to load a state where she doesn't have anything on her or it will be switched with another thing... And each of the chars represents one of the 3 acts, so you can't turn the 3 chars at once because there will be problems but it´s too long to explain and i won't, on the final chapter you won't need because you will understand why because these codes turn even the crappiest of them all into a baddass Haar...

...

metaphoric speaking but you got it, ya?

And finally,

I'm sorry because i don't remember what i did but you see my head is full of other things and i just hacked the Dragon Force 2 (that the nice people on Verve translated 100% to english btw XD) memory to get stuff that i wanted so the part of my brain that this info was, was "deleted"...kinda of u.u

Edit: OH...I remember is that the first sheet on my calculator is useless... or is just for reference... anyway, just the 2 i made works

Haiyukin (or anyone else that actually knows how to do this), on the off chance that you still actually read this thread, could you please give me the default class skills addresses WITHOUT the offset? I own an actual disk copy of Radiant Dawn (bought it way back in 2007, oh yeah!), but I have no means of scanning the memory so I can't find the addresses for myself. I try to work around editing characters directly, since they're in slots and thus the codes don't always work properly, especially across separate playthroughs. I've been able to make gecko codes for every other aspect of the game I want to alter, whether I'm making slight stat adjustments to better balance the game for a serious playthrough, or simply crashing through the levels with a roided out Ike. However, if you could tell me what the default class skill addresses are (and what's already in the occupied ones) so that I could make skill codes without worrying that I'll assign them to the wrong characters, it would truly complete my RD experience, and I would be very, very grateful.

Did you ever find a working code for this?

I am also looking for a working chapter warping, but can't find one, and tried using "cheat search" on CC0000TT but I found too many matches, so I don't know...

Been quite a while since I checked in. Never did go back to working on the PAL version for the code creator. Probably never will, sorry guys.

I don't check my messages much, but clearly there's still interest here, so I'll keep an eye on it for a while.

The post with my spreadsheet is here: http://serenesforest.net/forums/index.php?showtopic=47361&page=4#entry3342186

Someone mentioned that the offsets are different in newer versions of Dolphin. I can't confirm this at the moment, as I don't have a recent version installed and don't have time. Keep in mind that certain characters, particularly those near the end of the list, have their offsets changed in different playthroughs. One way to avoid this is to create a save/save state at the beginning of the game, then never ever ever save over it. Sadly, that removes the option for the multiple playthroughs flag and special characters. Alternative? Download a save game online which has the requisite achievements and use that as a base.

That is a very good question, and can be answered by anyone who takes a look at the skill slot addresses in Dolphin's debug mode. Obviously you don't have that access. I don't have the time to look into exactly what you need, so all I can say is: ask around.

Short version, many attributes (can equip Florette, Florette Usable) are applied like skills. These "skills" are hidden from the skills screen in-game but take up skill slots in memory. Most characters have slightly different sets of these. Some characters have many hidden skills. There is not currently a list of exactly what these are and which skill slots they occupy. The hidden skills are usually first, but some might not be. Can't be certain without looking at each individual character's skills in debug mode.

See the spreadsheet:

  • In the Skills tab, Skill Reference is the base location for each skill. Skill Cost is further down in the same column. Each skill has its own Skill Cost code.
  • Class skill addresses are the skill slots in the Char tab (Skill Slot 1, Skill Slot 2, etc). Each character has 18 skill slots. Many of these are occupied by hidden skills, and yes, I am aware that I already said that. It bears repeating.
  • First row labelled Skill in each Skill Slot section is for the specific skill (skill reference)
  • Following rows labelled Skill are for other properties, but I only discovered the value for skill cost.
  • Free and locked: numbers in parenthesis are the applicable values, 01 and 02. Locked means it cannot be removed, free means there's no skill cost. Note that Ch.4 has it's own values and free/locked are flipped.

One possible workaround might be to add skills to slots 12-18. Always test with a visible skill to be sure that it appears after whatever is already on the list.

Changing visible skills is easier: just set each skill slot to a visible skill until it shows up in the character's skill list. Reload the save which you made right before editing, and then change the slot which you located.

Hello, I'm in need of some serious help!

I downloaded two RD isos from emupardise. 1 iso is scrubbed (without dummy data), the other is not (with dummy data). The unscrubbed version is listed as 1.01.

I got RDCC working and tried both AR codes version 1.00 and 1.01 codes with both isos but nothing worked.

What is wrong here? Please help me with this.

Thank you very much.
