Merric - Student of magic, first avaliable mage in FE1 (FE11), wants to rescue Marth's sis. Linde - Daughter of Miloah, who was killed by Gharnef. Wants revenge. Wendell - Bishop/Sage and Merric's teacher Ellerean - Merric's rival, Wendell's student. Want's to prove himself. Yubello - Because sending a little kid to kill the main villain is funny. Frost - Random old guy deserves the credit Mallesia - Because she can? Maria - Because she can? Lena - Because she can? FE12's Avatar - Because YOU want the glory of his death. More often, I have them fight him together, in case one of them struggles ( which 6/10 makes me choose Merric for the job). (I accidentally spoiled myself when attempting to check the wiki page for growths.) It will still probably be the party magic user with the highest res growth, though Usually Merric, though I'll use Linde if I decide to level her. I'd use Lena, but I can never get her weapon level high enough, even after reclassing her to a Sage. Weapon levels in FE11 grow way too slowly. The reason that i have her bait garnef on his first appearance is to grind her magic level. Also, reclass her to sage as soon as she promotes.
