I forgot about Di Canio myself, actually. How was it like having A Literal Fascist as a manager? That Gus Poyet tho.

This is fun tho and I'm looking forwards to more. I'm on the Jamie Taylor hype bandwagon. =P Only one goal short of the Top Goalscorers for the league right now. Tho you do have one or two games on a lot of people. I DON'T CARE HE WILL MAKE IT I BELIEVE IN THE HEART OF THE CARDS.

Sutton United vs Dorcester

Final Score: 1-0

A pretty boring game. Taylor ended up getting a goal but there were very few highlights to speak of. Brown had a good game, because they did have a couple of chances to equalise.

Forest Green are a good Skrill Premier team, honestly. We'll need to play a countering game against them.

FA Trophy 1st Round

Sutton United vs Forest Green

Final Score: 3-1

Forest Green actually scored first in this game, quite early. We were playing with the counter tactic, so we sat off for a while in the game before scoring one with both Taylor and Slabster, as well as one of their players having an own goal.

Taylor is on a run of good form, it's nice to see. He could actually become the top goalscorer in the Skrill South if he keep grabbing goals there.

And we get our money for getting to the FA Trophy second round, hopefully we can get even further!

Ben Kudjodji approaches me to be called up for first team football, I tried to change his contract but he wanted a decent amount of wage, and honestly he isn't that great, so I let him go.

Bye, reserve reject.

These loan players contracts are expiring - looking at them both, I decide that I don't really want to keep them, either. I'll let them run out.

Not totally related, but I think these players would be totally willing to come to the glorious club of Sutton United.

We get Colwyn Bay, who are a Skrill North team that are in relegation zone, so we should be able to win this one.

Sutton United vs Maidenhead

Final Score: 2-2

Taylor gets an amazing break in this game, and a disallowed goal too, and Gwillim got a freekick and buries it. Unfortunately we fall apart from a second half goal from them, and an absolute shocker from Brown that I feel inclined to record.

Yeah, Scunthorpe look like a really strong team to be taking on. And we don't have too much hope. We're going to be playing counter, again. I figure it works better against teams that are notably better than us.

Scunthorpe vs Sutton United

Final Score: 2-2

This game was really intense, yet we probably should have lost it. Brown was having a great game, yet we still managed to concede twice - Taylor managed to grab one back, and when I thought the game was over and we lost 2-1, Taylor managed to get a goal in the last minute of injury time, forcing Scunthorpe into a replay game.

Taylor, once again, is doing great.

Downer is out for a decent length of time, once again our central defenders getting injured, sucks.

Sigh, more injuries. I send O'Callaghan to a specialist.

Leeds - if we manage to beat Scunthorpe in the replay somehow, there is no chance we're gonna win against a Championship team, even if they are doing very poorly in my game.

Well, that makes it worth it, at least. We'll receive a very nice chunk of money just for playing the game against Scunthorpe.

Dover vs Sutton United

Final Score: 0-2

A lot of bookings, but a good two goal lead on Dover, and one without too many highlights, Slabster having a goal deemed offside. Dover barely had any chances. By the way, they have a player called John Nutter. Nutter.

Er - not expected to seriously challenge for the title, excuse me? I think you've got that one wrong.

Man, my players really get booked a lot. It's worth it, though. I have a feeling that we would concede a lot more if I did turn down the aggression.

Sutton United vs Colwyn Bay

Final Score: 2-1

We got two penalties after Sanderson was sent off very early (seriously, 5 minutes in?). They scored first, and we were lucky. Colwyn Bay should probably be ashamed that they still lost after going against a 10 man side for the majority of the match, but then again, they're not doing that well in Skrill North.

We're into the third round of the FA Trophy, sounds good to me.

You're lucky, punk.

Unfortunately, I haven't been able to play Williams that much recently - so I promise him some first team football since I don't want to lose him, he's a decent player.

So our next opponents in the FA Trophy run are Hereford - a Skrill Premier team that aren't doing that great, sitting bottom half. We should have a chance.

FA Cup 2nd Round Replay

Sutton United vs Scunthorpe

Final Score: 3-5

This was probably my most intense game - Once again we were playing counter-attacking football, and we scored very early from Akiotu, but they started bossing the game and pulled it to 1-2 for them before half time. Sawyer was an idiot and got himself sent off at the 80th minute. While we did have some chances, Dundas managed to once again, like Taylor, grab an extremely late goal to send this into extra time. After that, Gwillim ALSO got himself sent off, so we were down to 9 men trying to defend against Scunthorpe, and we couldn't. Their three goals came in, sealing the match, but Taylor got himself a consolation goal. Even so, we managed to hold our own in a game we were expected to lose, and we might have had a chance should we not have been reduced to 9 men.

Gwillim and Brown remark on their poor performance - I can't really complain about Brown, really, even if he could have done more for Scunthorpe's second goal in the match. He's been great for us.

Ebbsfleet vs Sutton United

Final Score: 0-2

Binns got a goal after being not played for a pretty long time, and his first goal of the season. Ebbsfleet were still second, so a win here was nice. Williams also got a goal, who I was playing since he wanted first team football, so I'll probably play him a little more.

An injury for Bolaji.

Unfortunately, Cleaver hasn't been learning much, and I have kind of dropped him recently. Maybe he'll be good if I can keep him over a couple seasons.

Final Score: 2-2

This was a tough game against a team that we really shouldn't struggle with too much as they were only mid-table. We had a lot more chances that we unfortunately didn't take over them. Slabster and Gwillim both scored pretty excellent goals from inside the box, but they also had two good goals, I don't think the defense could do much about them.

Staines vs Sutton United

Final Score: 1-3

We have a fairly comfortable game against Staines, Taylor scoring twice. It wasn't fantastic that we gave away a penalty, but mostly we were cruising. Another confident win to add.

Taylor is becoming my best player since he recovered from that injury.

Hey, Carbon is back after... a long time!

Here are the contracts that are expiring - I will attempt to keep as many players here as I possibly can the next update, but it looks like we're gonna have to say goodbye to some of these guys.

Well, at least this one worked out - I've had a look at Brown and the possibility of keeping him for next season - it doesn't look great in terms of keeping him right now, so I'm probably gonna need another goalkeeper.

Sanderson, please.

And as a surprise to no-one, Messi claims the World Golden Ball.

Mata manages to grab the Player of the Year, though.

Whitehawk have had a good run of recent form, I come second as Manager of the Month.

Lastly, here's a look at the board confidence.

The league table looks good, Ebbsfleet are getting some points but they look unlikely to catch us. Jamie Taylor is climbing the top scorers currently having 11 goals, so I'm trying to play him every game I can. His average performance is great, too.

Having di Canio as a manager? I thought he was like the second coming of Roy Keane at first. He kept us up by alienating some of our best players (Bardsley, Sessegnon, Cattermole who was our captain) and making the others play like God. And then he signed Giaccherini the one good player, Jozy Altidore, and 12 anonymous garbagemen on free transfers, only it turns out he didn't actually want any of them and they were all the Director of Football's fault and then we exploded.

I edited some of the earlier posts because I made some errors - that goal that Maidenhead scored against me should now be viewable, if you couldn't see it before, and I accidentally mixed some Ebbsfleet results up.

So I take a look at my current contracts - the ones grayed out are the ones that I was able to get a new contract for.

As for the rest - the staff members that I have are pretty garbage, so I could perhaps find new ones.

• Jason Brown doesn't want to negeotiate a contract because of the clubs financial state, which is worrying because I'll probably need to pick up another decent goalkeeper. I dunno if I should put him up on the transfer list.
• Paul Telfer didn't want a new contract at all, I assume he's retiring soon.
• Marvin Williams wasn't interested in a new contract either, I'll be fine with letting him go.
• Sawyer is one I'm leaving for now - I'm not sure if he's that good, but he is willing to negeotiate a contract.
• Canham is expensive and I'm not sure I want to keep him, though he has been playing well.
• Cleaver is one I'm unsure I want to keep - he did get us some goals, but I think we have enough strikers and Taylor is back to full strength. I'll think about it, as he is one for the future.
• Moon Hong is one I'm fine with letting go.

Unfortunately, the new contracts have pushed the wage budget into the negative again, but at least it's only ~£75/per week under.

I get Pete Burdett to specifically start looking in the Skrill Premier for potential players.

And I organize a philosophy meeting and try to get youth facilities upgraded, but no deal.

Hayes & Yeading vs Sutton United

Final Score: 3-6

After Hayes & Yeading gave me trouble last time we played, it was nice to get this result. The Slabster was fantastic in this game, picking up 3 goals, 2 assits, and a 9.8 rating. Taylor also picked up one, and generally the team played well, however we do concede three times. We have trouble defending against crosses, unfortunately.

Slabster deserves all the praise he can get. His second goal was outside the box, and a really good shot.

And thus that takes us into January. Slabster, understandably, gets a mention. So many fans, too.

Sutton United vs Gosport

Final Score: 3-0

Gosport are looking like an obvious relegation side right now, so it isn't surprising that we had a leisurely game against them, and it could have in fact been much more, though they did hit the post on one occasion, Slabster also having a disallowed goal. Still, he scored eventually, and Taylor (the hype is on) scored another early on.

Offers have started flooding in for Murrell-Williamson, and I really don't care - he's a reserve player and not even that good, so I'm just letting him go.

And so I take away direct football as a philosophy - I could have also tried to put something else like signing high-profile players, but the club has such shit finances I wouldn't even be able to sign anyone half-decent.

I'd be surprised if he wasn't.

FA Trophy 3rd Round

Sutton United vs Hereford

Final Score: 4-0

It ended up being a very one sided match, but the counter football in this game was executed superbly by us. They had very few chances, and at every available occasion we were able to have a shot. Dale Binns played great in this match, and got a goal for himself as well as Man of the Match.

I should probably start playing him - he's filling in for Gwillim because he's suspended, but he seems to be a good pick for the left wing back position.

I think we can make it far in the FA Trophy - it doesn't have teams above the Skrill Premier in it. We may even be able to win the whole thing if the results keep going our way against these higher league teams!

The game reminds me that Sanderson's loan contract is going to end soon, which I actually forgot about.

Downer comes back into the team, and hopefully we can keep our central defenders for a while. I hope.

Dover? Not bad. They've gotten a lot better than they have been at the start of the season, hovering around the playoff places now, but they should be easier than any Skrill Premier team to beat. Plus I hammered them 5-0 and 2-0 this season.

Bolaji is still injured, as well as O'Callaghan.

We manage to keep Sanderson as a loan contract until the end of the season at least!

Sutton United vs Tonbridge

Final Score: 3-3

Tonbridge have been giving us problems, our last result against them was a 4-4 draw as well, and even with 2 goals from Taylor and 1 from Slabster we can't prevent the draw here. It isn't too bad, as we still have a great advantage on other teams in the league. Just gotta keep going. They also got a player sent off, around 15 minutes from full time.

Sawyer has apparently been impressive - now I'm wondering if I should try to keep him.

Scannell once again comes at me looking for first-team football. I accept, but I really wish he could start getting better as a central midfielder.

Taylor is doing excellent, still. He's catching up with the top goalscorers in the league.

Final Score: 4-1

Taylor was absolutely fantastic in this game, and his hat trick has secured him as joint top goalscorer of Skrill South. We did concede after going one up due to the penalty, but after the first half it was very one sided.

Well, looks like it couldn't go without a hitch. Once again, a defender is out.

Chelmsford really shouldn't have given us that much trouble, being a bottom half side, but their striker did put two past us. Luckily for us, we have mastered the art of "scoring more than you". Slabster picks up another two, and his assits and goals himself are looking impressive in the league now too.

Basingstoke vs Sutton United

Final Score: 1-2

Basingstoke are a relegation-scrapping team, and we have quite a lot of trouble with them, going behind to begin - but eventually through Taylor and Canham we get back into the game. It could've been a lot more, but at least we come away with the win.

As you can see, Taylor is now claiming top goalscorer by a margin of one, admittedly, but if this keeps up I may go ahead and rename him to Taylinho. Get yourself to Brazil, lad. Just so you know, the Slabster currently has 18 goals and 22 assists in all competitions (37 appearances) while Taylor has 29 goals and 9 assists in all competitions. (30 appearances)

And our upcoming fixtures, including our FA Trophy game against Dover, which is also at home.

(I may or may not keep up with the details of every game - it does take a while, so I dunno right now)

Final Score: 2-1

Good comeback after we concede a penalty to them, and their top goalscorer buries it, Taylor also got a goal, but we were unlucky not to keep a clean sheet in this game because otherwise we dominated.

And now it's time for our Dover game. We should win this one, I think. We've had success against them in the past.

I'm gonna keep scouting the Skrill Premier for next season potential players.

Well, our two strikers make it into the Player of the Month top 3.

And I claim the Manager of the Month, too. Good wins, but only one clean sheet, which is a little disappointing.

Sutton United vs Dover

Final Score: 4-1

Absolute annihilation from Taylor here, and Carbon got in on the act too after being injured for a good part of the season. Excellent performance from Taylor and the goal we conceded was a freekick we couldn't do much about.

I think he deserves it, now.

And thus we are in the FA Trophy semi-finals! From now, we're only playing Skrill Premier teams.

And that pretty much pushes us over to club legend status, unfortunately we did lose a chunk of money last month.

Lee Sawyer unfortunately suffered an injury against Dover, as well, but it's not a long-term injury.

Our first headline with his new name.

And thus we draw Cambridge in the semi-finals. This'll probably be the hardest game we'll face, since Cambridge are a possible promotion side.

And Sinclair has been doing well for us as well, and getting a few goals himself.

A lot of shots that we didn't convert in this gae, before Taylor finally went and won the game for us with a late goal. This is one that we could've easily drawn after numerous attempts.

Final Score: 1-1

Trying to defend because we were away, I was happy with this result to come away with a draw. After they equalised, we didn't have too many chances to score again, but luckily we held on until the second leg.

Final Score: 2-1

Once again, another game we couldn't keep a clean sheet in. It was a pretty even game, but the Slabster once again proves his worth. One of their players was sent off late on, and we see the win out.

Sutton United vs Cambridge

Final Score: 1-1

A game where we could have won comfortably, but they got the one chance they needed and we couldn't get more thn one ourselves. Taylor got 2 goals that were disallowed and so it went to extra time, and then for our first penalty shootout. Our penalties were all perfect, while they sent one over the bar and Brown saved another, giving us our place in the FA Trophy final, winning on penalties 4-2!

And thus, we are playing at Wembley.

And we get a decent chunk of money for winning over Cambridge.

Moon Hong wants to either get first team football or leave, so I'm letting him leave, honestly.

And we get our opponents for the final - Chester. Chester are a Skrill Premier team that are currently mid-table. I think we can beat them. #It'sComingHere

A pretty comfortable game for us, I rested the Slabster and Taylor because they had been playing a lot recently. We got goals from Dundas and Binns and a pretty comfortable possession amount that helped us seal the win, though.

A game where they managed to gave us a bit of trouble and came away with a goal. A couple of our players needed to go off injured, I just hope it isn't anything serious. Taylor himself picked up 2 more before having to be brought off.

Unfortunately, for Dundas this is not the case. Taylor should be okay.

ONCE AGAIN, Clough is back.

Gwillim appears once again in the Team of the Week - he should be a good left back to have next season.

It was quite disappointing not to keep a clean sheet against the bottom team in the Skrill South, and with only five minutes to go, too. Taylor had a disallowed goal before scoring himself, and Telfer got himself sent off, which didn't exactly help. At the end, we won, the game though. And that means...

Well, it was bound to come sooner or later. No way Ebbsfleet could catch us, and no-one else even stood a chance of doing so either. So now all league games will be leisurely stroll time, I'll try to play backup players as much as I can.

Telfer got himself sent off which means he's got a suspension, but it shouldn't be too big a deal.

The best manager... in the English bottom leagues...

I figure they'd be begging to keep me at this point.

They score a very early goal, but they get dominated otherwise. Since we've won the league already, the league results mean little to us now, but I am still playing Taylor since he seems to want more and more goals, like damn, lad.

I just get rid of Moon Hong because no-one wants to take him after I listed him and he gets pissy at me for no-one wanting him, gg m8.

Sinclair is a great midfielder for me, I'm glad we're keeping him.

A comfortable win for us, and one we never looked like losing. Well, it's another clean sheet, but otherwise the Slabster puts in 2, but otherwise a fairly easy game.

He is starting to get as many goals as he has assists too, now.

Okay, looks like the transfer deadline does come in before the end of the season, so I'll be thinking of anyone I want to bring in. I'm probably good enough with bringing in players at the start of next season.

Looks like I'm going to be looking forward to a higher wage budget.

Well, it's our second FA Trophy final.

£8k? That's a decent amount, we should be able to keep some players and get some new ones with that.

Chester vs Sutton United

Final Score: 0-3

It ended up being very one-sided, but they had as many chances as we did, they didn't take them, but the #Slabster wins the trophy for us with a fantastic individual performance. Taylor unfortunately didn't play that well, but Slabster scored 3 good goals in order to pretty much humiliate Chester.

You are a beast, Slabster.

Silverware in the first year, I'm really happy with that, as well as the chairman and fans.

I'm sure the player's morale will be excellent at the moment.

Taylor gave us 9 goals in the tournament even if he didn't turn up so much to the final, so I'm thankful to him for that.

And an amazing payout for an amazing season.

And that's all for now - we have six league games left which are pretty much a formality, and a few days before the transfer deadline, so I may look at signing a few new players now.

The tactic works really well, at least with very low league teams, link if you want to try it

and as viyut said, morale seems to be a big part, the fact that I got a streak going immediately and now my players are rarely below good/superb morale means that they usually put in good performances. On my other test playthrough, I had the same tactic, but I had a poor run of results to begin with and I didn't really recover from it. Plus you also need some time for the tactic to become known by your players.

Otherwise, I had a good squad for Skrill South to begin with. some matches I have gotten extremely lucky on, I'll admit, though, that cambridge second leg was cutting it close

A counter mentality on the regular tactic seems to work better for teams that I'm a league or more lower than, as well.

On my other test playthrough, I had the same tactic, but I had a poor run of results to begin with and I didn't really recover from it. Plus you also need some time for the tactic to become known by your players.

It makes a huge difference, i was playing with Wrexham at Skrill premier but i couldn't get a winning streak going early in the season and my team's morale kept dropping a lot, and since my team was just average compared to the rest of the league i couldn't recover and got sacked not too long after that.

I don't think your team needs to be fully familiarized with the tactic to be winning, it certainly helps but it's not a decisive factor on the game (Match preparation is one of them) i managed to win the Brazilian Serie A with only half of the Tactic Familiarity.

I forgot to mention I booted up Sutton United with the original game before the updated database patch, where they must have signed Jason Brown.

And thus I found the best goalkeeper.

That 1 pace, acceleration, agility. That 43 years old. That 19 eccentricity (which is usually a bad stat for goalkeepers if it's high). He was their goalkeeping coach in the past.

I know, it's brilliant. More fun in the lower leagues IMHO.

I managed to get the youth level upgraded from the board, as well as higher possible wages for staff and another look at possible parent clubs.

It'll be finished in August, so at least there is that.

Another look for a parent club - if the choices aren't great, I'll stick with Colchester.

Managers be hating. Well, we'll be seeing Chester next seasons.

Percentage of transfer revenue I believe means that if I sell a player, I will get back a bigger percentage instead of it going to the chairman's pockets. I try for a stadium, but it was a hopeful venture.

The transfer deadline ends, and I decide that I'll get whoever I need at the start of next season.

Final Score: 2-1

A pretty average game between the two sides - I was resting some players, but playing my main strikers, and they both got a goal each. Bath are a side that shouldn't really give us too much trouble, but they gave us some problems defensively.

Farnborough are going down, though this was pretty obvious since a while ago.

These are the contracts still expiring, so I'm going to have to consider who I want to keep. Williams, Sawyer and Canham, mostly.

Seven goals in five games? Jeez.

A perfect March sees us as once again the Manager of the Month.

This guys surname is Hippolyte. And he's pretty cool.

Lastly, an update of the huge finance boost since winning the FA Trophy.

We get possibilities back - unfortunately, none of them are worthwhile, so I don't bother.

Maidenhead are a side that are in the bottom half, and it showed from this game. I played Ibbetson in goal and he managed to pick up a quiet clean sheet. There were a few disallowed goals for us, too, so it could have been more than 3-0. Otherwise, Scannell, who I really haven't played much of in this season, got on the scoresheet with his second league goal.

Ebbsfleet are maybe coming up with us.

Injuring Slabster, so bad. Well, at least it's at the end of the season.

Ibbetson apparently was good enough to earn a place in the Team of the Week.

So the voting for Player of the Season comes round. I can't vote for my own players, so I vote for Kudus Oyenuga, instead, who was the previous top goalscorer.

The toughest league game we had left, and it ended up being a very good showing from us. Ibbetson unfortunately had a howler and let a freekick go in, but otherwise, we dominated against Ebbsfleet who are a very good side for this level.

Carbon has actually been doing decently this season despite my expectations. That is, when he wasn't injured.

Pretty boring game with few chances aside for Taylinho's goal. Honestly, not much to talk about because there were barely any highlights at all.

A game that had a lot of chances, but they were mostly ours. We had a penalty fairly early on, which we converted, and later on Taylinho and Scannell also got a goal. They themselves got a goal for a freekick and header combo, which was probably unavoidable even if I had Brown playing as goalkeeper.

Scannell is a decent player even if I don't have him in a favoured position, yet.

The last game of the season, and I suppose it showed for us as either team was unable to convert despite both having a decent amount of chances, Taylinho having a goal disallowed rightfully for offside, but otherwise a pretty drab game.

And the last relegation side Havant & Waterlooville go down as the bottom of the table looks extremely close.

Scannell picks up an injury in the last match, not that it matters much.

Strevens claims the Player of the Month.

Despite that final draw, we still get this.

I found myself a goalkeeper - sorry, not Wayne Shaw. He's a decent guy from Walsall's U21 team, a League 1 team currently in the playoffs. Got him on a free transfer, though his wages are looking quite high. Regardless, he is a decent keeper even though he's not nearly on the level of Jason Brown, unfortunately.

His coaching stats are actually a lot better than his actual stats - 13 for Goalkeepers.

We manage to keep Canham, though he is on a fairly expensive contract right now.

Quite surprising as Ebbsfleet lose to Eastbourne Borough and so we are joined by them instead next season.

Well, we have to pay out to members of our squad for getting us to the Skrill Premier.

I don't think this is surprising at all, and after the Ebbsfleet doesn't score anything else, he is also top goalscorer of Skrill South.

While I'm not entirely being truthful here, some contracts are going to run out, but otherwise I'm going to keep most of the team and bring a few new people in.

And an overview of our season, pretty much.

I decide to start the pre-season rather early in order to arrange friendlies or signings.

Man, Ebbsfleet must be a harsh job, sacked because they didn't get promoted.

I ask the board for a youth facility upgrade, and they give it - problem is it'll cost £130K, so this most probably will hurt the clubs finances. But at least we can do this.

This guy can play as both wing backs, and has good physical stats even if he is oldish. Good crosser, and he's a really good wing back for me. I think he'll be good.

These are my replacements for staff - not much to say other than they should be better than the guys I had before.

Loans:

I should mention that I'm actually pay 0% of these guys wages, which pretty much as far as I know means they are playing for me for free. Which ain't bad, considering I could end their loans if I don't need them.

Left Attacking Midfielder/Left Midfielder/Striker - Kevin Ellison

A replacement striker for Williams and Cleaver. He's pretty old, but still has some pretty decent stats.

Central or Right Defender - D'Arcy O'Connor

Generally an option for a right wing back, and could possibly play as a central defender, though I'd probably want someone else. He's okay.

Central or Left Defender - Kenzer Lee

Looks to be a decent central defender, but I don't know if I would want to play him as a wing back as he has bad crossing. Good physical stats, though.

We manage to avoid the tax hits. For once, the economy doesn't suck.

And we'll need to make some money in order to make up for the loss we'll suffer in the coming months. First of all, we get a good increase on our sponsorship deal.

Our wage budget is now higher, but we will probably have it even higher when the season starts.

Sawyer is a good player so I renew his contract as well, and I think that's all I can do - I'm not going to resign Williams.

Our three signings come in, before I started looking for additional loan players.

Gwillim is apparently wanted, but I reject the offer. He's still my first choice left back.

Alas, we must wave goodbye to Jason Brown, as he is far too quality for SUTTON UNITED, apparently. He moves to Portsmouth, and now he's getting 1.4K/week, quite an improvement over the £150/week we were giving him. He will be missed.

And here was the Best 11 from our previous season. Strange that Canham is in the defensive midfield role, but the rest seem fair.

"Cash-strapped" - Well, we know the feeling.

Well, a top half finish and promotion especially seem a bit high for my expectations, so I leave it on a mid-table finish.

They actually go with a higher wage budget, too.

If what they meant by "scouting range upgraded" is, now you can look at Ireland, Scotland and Wales too, have fun, then great.

Looks like we're going to get around a ~£9K budget.

Well, looks like we'll at least get one game on TV in the Skrill Premier.

I sign another contract with Hinds, but it is still a non-contract - I don't particularly want to offer him a full contract, but other clubs could come in and bid for him, as well as Carbon and Akiotu. Those aren't really great players, but I would like to keep Hinds, maybe I'll offer him a proper contract.

And unfortunately we're going to have to wave goodbye to Sanderson too, as he no longer wants to sign for us. He played well for us. o7

So mainly it's our staff that are going, and I'm going to have to replace them. Unfortunately, Cleaver wasn't really as great as I thought he would be, and probably wasn't worth the resigning.

So we get an annual fee from Colchester and we're going to have a friendly against them.

Well, the confidence status is back to this.

Our three loan players come in, and are rated fairly decent by our assistant manager - not that he's really a great judge, though.

I stick with the standard win bonuses.

We have a few staff going for additional licences, which is fine by me.

I decide to increase our home pitch to the maximum possible since we have decent wing backs, and that should help out.

We have a lot of people that we're going to have to renew contracts with this year.

And our squad numbers have been decided - this includes the reserve youths, as well.

Our chances of being promoted aren't exactly fantastic, according to the media.

Carbon had a chance to leave, but decides to stay with us even if we're not paying him anything.

And I stick with the standard captains.

Friendlies and fixtures:

I'm not going to go over friendlies like I did last time, I'll just give them a brief mention here.

• That 9-1 win against Mole Valley was quite astounding, though it was Lewis messing up that unfortunately gave them a goal. Unfortunately, he's nowhere near as good as Brown. I feel we are going to concede a lot more.
• He also conceded fairly poorly against Andover, but they did also have a goal we couldn't do much about.
• Commingues is ripping down that right or left wing - I think he'll be a good assist machine this season, and he popped up with some goals himself.
• Carbon was getting some goals himself, and doing pretty well for himself, still.
• The Colchester game was the hardest game, and we got lucky to win it. Once again, counter-attacking football worked well, they got a player sent off, and Taylinho and Dundas sent a goal past them to take a 2-0 win against our parent club.
• The rest of the games were fairly standard and easy friendlies that I set up to gain confidence.

Lastly, you can see how much our finances suck now - £42K in the red. Hopefully a good cup run can turn that around.

GOALS FOR THE SEASON:

• Don't get relegated.
• Try and acheive a good cup run.
• Aim for as high in the league as possible, but we probably aren't going to top it like last time.
• Try and build some better players and keep the ones I have.
• Don't get relegated.

How did the World Cup 2014 go in our game?

Well obviously the groups aren't the same and such, as well as the teams. Australia topping their group, though. #TheDream

England also managing to somehow get 14 goals in their three group matches - I think that is rather optimistic. Also featuring Portugal being shit.

Australia hype. Aside from that, no real surprises apart from Morocco (how did they even qualify?) edging out the USA.

Once again, no real surprises for the quarter-finals. Alas, Australia falls.

England getting put out by Germany, it's like poetry.

fuccboi's gonna love this one. Though I expect England to fall before the semi-finals in the actual world cup.

And so, Germany beat Spain 3-0 in the final, you heard it here first!

Messi is the highest scorer despite Argentina placing third.
