Sure, hes got fans here on SF, but the wider fandom is really big on Inigo and Owain. Plus Henry is a gr9 unit. I voted Cordelia because i think shes boring and Sumia does her job better. All I saw was Shulk, Shulk, more Shulk, and duck hunt dog. Lucina is so bland. Owain is at least interesting and good looking. Implies that Lucy isn't good looking lol. But now hes to popular I mean really when you search fire emblem on Google images there is a lot of Owain on it also keep safe search on in google images because if you search Fire Emblem there is so much Owain porn pics.Anyways now I hate Owain so much hes probably my least favorite character of all time. Rohesia Posted September 7, 2014 Share Posted September 7, 2014 As much as I love Owain for how sweet he can be, he is a pretty typical reference-loving character.Honestly I feel most of his popularity comes from his, well, "sword hand" jokes.Only reason I didn't vote for him was he hasn't harmed anyone like Tharja has. -Maybe annoyed, but never harmed. -Also I love how Gaius has no votes, not that he deserves any in my opinion. Her Dancer class is extremely reliable, yes, but there's so many things about her that I just don't like. For one thing, while her Dancer class is amazing, I can just send in a Sniper or a Swordmaster and wrecked her without even breaking a sweat. I also never liked her overly-shy personallity. Sure, it's supposed to show a sense of irony, since she's a dancer, but it's overused so much. I'm really tired of it. Also, her Japanese voice acting is the whole reason I stay in English voice acting. Noises that high pitched do NOT need to be made out of my 3DS. Especially since I'm wearing headphones. But of the people on this list, Tharja or Chrom. Tharja is someone I never liked, and similar to Olivia, I only think people like her because of her figure. You get Miriel earlier on, I just like Henry more, and Tharja doesn't even pass down a magic cap as high as, say, Aversa. Who also passes down Shadow Gift, mind you. I do like Noire, though, she's a very great unit. StahlxTharja is a pair I thought I'd never do, but it's an asset to my team now. Chrom isn't as overrated as the other two. He gets some pretty solid stats, and is one of the only units to get the deadly Aether AND Rightful King combo. That is to say, his daughter is literally everything he has, but more. Lucina gets higher stats, more class options, and still gets the Aether and RK combo. So Lucina is basically just a better version of Chrom. Then again, Lucina is pretty overrated herself. Instead, I decided to go with Robin because a bland self-insert character doesn't deserve the most unique Smash Bros. moveset in Fire Emblem history. And I felt he/she deserved to be in Smash over any other Awakening rep because unlike Chrom and Lucina, he/she's not a blue-haired sword user and had potential for a unique moveset because magic. And Sakurai made the smart decision and did this. ^^ Plus I liked Robin the most out of the three anyway! I voted Tharja simply because she's my most hated character in the game, but I find her, Owain, Lucina, and Chrom to all be overrated to some extent. Half the reason people like Tharja is because of her looks, the other is the creepy personality. You dont really need the personality, but it brings more attention and die hard waifuists.
