The past couple of days have reminded me of that fact, So I've started this thread because snakes are awesome and for the love of god they're not slimy. EricaofRenais Posted August 29, 2014 Share Posted August 29, 2014 I like snakes, I live where snakes still have some of their natural living space. when I was a kid I used to see king snakes and gopher snakes all the time but I have not seen too many snakes this year. King snakes are actually kind of cute and they are great to have around barns because they take care of mice and rats which would eat all the grain for your livestock if the snakes did not take care of the problem. I think both were defanged or whatever so they couldn't hurt each other too much. The snake kept trying to slither up the side of the cage, and the mongoose kept grabbing the snake with its mouth and shaking it IIRC. I felt bad for the snake.
