bushichubtoaddo
Really strange. Got a Crossbow in 3-1, and Boyd actually used it. Totally surprised. Tried it on everyone else available in 3-2, nothing but him and snipers. What really thew me off is Boyd doesn't even have a Bow mastery quotient. So, is this a Warrior exclusive? CGV
yes it is. Warriors and reavers can use crossbows, but now bows
Florete
You should've seen this from enemy warriors in part 2. Warriors can't use regular bows anymore, but crossbows are game.
Raven
You should've seen this from enemy warriors in part 2. Warriors can't use regular bows anymore, but crossbows are game. This. Warriors of the GBA titles were able to use bows, which was quite useful in certain situations. Edited September 11, 2008 by Raven
¬_¬
Crossbows in part two always catch me by surprise, my first time playing part two chapter chapter three, Marcia was slaughtered because I thought he was holding an axe and wasn't in range ._. Same thing happens in Endgame, as well as Brom getting smacked around with a hammer. Lesson learned, always check weapons before hand. (Bad habit of assuming that they have regular iron/steel weapons, which reminds me, the other day Guy was owned by a pirate with a Swordslayer at Port of Badon..) Raven
Guy was owned by a pirate with a Swordslayer at Port of Badon That... is almost as bad as Elincia getting owned by a crossbow in Part II.
Camus The Dark Knight
I liked to use bows with warriors because they really put them to good use with their high strength. Sadly the fact they can only use crossbows in FE10 kind of defeats this purpose.
Big Klingy
That... is almost as bad as Elincia getting owned by a crossbow in Part II. LOL, that always happens to me on 2-F. I liked to use bows with warriors because they really put them to good use with their high strength.Sadly the fact they can only use crossbows in FE10 kind of defeats this purpose. Crossbows are pretty much instant death to pegasi and bird laguz, so they definatly have their uses. I still think it's kinda pointless that you get the Arbalest only a few chapters before Double Bow, though.
Cenzo25
I actually hate the fact that Boyd uses a crossbow now. Because, to my knowledge, it now means Boyd Oscar, and Rolf can't triangle attack, right?

Arch
They can still triangle attack, Boyd just uses a crossbow for it. (which is technically a bow)

The Envoy of the Beginning
Wait, people use crossbows? They suck in my opinion, and there's not enough flying enemies to make me want to use them often. Bram Stoker
Well.. i like to use them on DB chapters against laguz. Nolan with beastfoe and a crossbow is a monster on 3-6 and 3-13. But otherwise, yeah, i don't find them that useful. Edited September 12, 2008 by Bram Stoker
Kintenbo
Wait, people use crossbows? They suck in my opinion, and there's not enough flying enemies to make me want to use them often. Beast/Dragon Foe says hi.

CGV
all laguz are super effected by crossbows? only flying type units. A.K.A. Raven, Hawks, and Falcon Knights... NOT Wyvern Knights
Bram Stoker
Yeah, i only mentioned laguz because you get a beastfoe skill on part one. And since the DB chapters in part three have lots of laguz enemies, a unit with beastfoe and a crossbow combined do killer damage. On 3-6, Nolan, with beastfoe, was doing around 65 damage per hit with a crossbow. He gained levels like crazy.
noremaC
o, i thought you meant they all were super efeccted, who left out the beast foe part >.<

Gatrie: Guns Blazing
i find crossbows much more useful weapons than bows in a warrior's hands.
