It sure was. This part of the game has a LOT of exposition.



LET'S GET THINGS STARTED

But first, let's take a look at the enemy types this chapter introduces.



These are Wyverns! They can fly, which means they aren't impeded by the desert. Like all dragons they ignore defence, but they also can't double, ever.



And here we have Barbarians! They're sort of like promoted Axe users. We'll be seeing a lot of them over the next few chapters.

Oh, and they can move unimpeded through the desert. At least they're slow and innacurate as heck. Also, they're vulnerable to the Lady Sword.



Watch out, we got a badass over here!

This is the only enemy berserker in the game. They're basically heroes with slightly higher(?) bases and a different palette.

Also, the master sword has the same might as a silver sword with 30% crit, so it's quite useful.

Dragons are supposed to be threatening with the ignoring defense and all, but they're so inaccurate that it takes away some of the menace.
