Rules:


1. This draft is for Four to Eight players.
2. This draft will be done in Kill the Monkey Route, 1* Mode.
3. Lowest turn count to CONQUER all of Japan wins.
4. No Vassalazitation allowed.
5. The following New Game bonuses are to be used (if you do not have a save with enough NG+ points for them, I will upload one):
- Can Kill Tokichirou
- Extra Characters (If drafted)
- Special Characters (if drafted)
- Action Fan +1
- Gold +10000
- National Power +3 x3
- One of each textbook (Attack, Defense, Magic, Speed)
- Four to Eight items of your choice (Depending on player number, To be decided after the drafting of characters are finished, but before starting the game)
- Up to TWO house bonuses. The house bonuses chosen must contain at least a character you drafted
Note that NO OTHER NG+ bonuses are to be used!
6. The following characters are free for everyone to use:
- Rance
- Maeda Toshiie (Keiji)
- Akechi Mitsuhide (Gracia)
- Niwa Nagahide
- Suzume
- All Generics
7. Undrafted unique/semi-uniques may NOT be used other than for the following purposes:
- SAT bonus
- Commander Fights (you have no real control over who gets switched in after all)
- Troop selling (In fact, this is mandatory)
- Talking (either to get a character or an item or to open an event or something similar)
- Used for the purpose of Character Clear of a drafted character
- Uesugi Kenshin during her random appearances
Undrafted character must be at 1/1 troop size. They may NOT be used for Negotiation/Search/Construction purposes. Generics are free, use them for that.
Using an undrafted character outside these exceptions result in a 4-turn penalty.
8. Usage of Battle Permits is NOT allowed. Similarly, you are not allowed to use the Mori Battle Challenge event, and the instant-conquer events of Iga (Gekkou) and Imagawa (Revealing Hanny King). The only exception is that you're allowed to do the Inukai duel event if you drafted him. We're doing this manually. :):


Drafting will be done in the usual snake drafting order of 1234567887654321.
From the start of the draft until a period within 96 hours after the drafting has finished, the players are allowed to TRADE characters with one another, with the following rules:
1. All trades must be agreed upon by BOTH sides.
2. Every player may only Trade Two to Five characters, total. The number allowed depends on the number of players in the draft.
3. Every trade must have an equal number of characters on each side of the trade.
4. Trades may be discussed anywhere, but to be considered valid, both parties must post the trade in the thread.

Question please

Why are Shibata and Ranmaru draftees this time around?

If I recall, the justification was with the Additional Characters and House Bonuses now available, the start of game crunch isn't as bad that you would need to rely on them necessarily. It was thought to be a way to prevent people from disregarding recruitment concerns entirely by having a fully stocked army out of the gates by making the more powerful Oda members draftable, yet leaving the weaker ones intact.

Makes sense, but with 8 players and only around 70 draftees, I'd think being allowed to use (at least Shibata, anyways) them as free units would save a lot of headache trying to get good generic footsies. After all, the amount of decent footsies is kind of limited.
