Luckily, I had a save state around the end of the chapter, so you can get the last fifth of the map This map was pretty tedious and boring BOEY GOT A KILL got magic and defence, iirc CELICA GOT EXCALIBUR Kamui did a lot of good things this chapter. RIGHT? yeah right So, like, Shinpichu had no way of advancing any further. Which basically meant that I had to send him a save state. And the worst thing about it? Also, whenever Alm and Celica are next to each other, their attacks (or at least Alm's) will always be a critical. Something tells me I won't. Fat lot of good this will do me. When Judah goes down, all the Bigles on the map will vanish. Though new ones will continue to spawn. FYI: Dear and Illusion don't seem to work on this map. BOSS BATTLE LIKE A BAWS Alm seems to have a special crit animation when facing Doma. Clair still being awesome. Not bad for a final level. I forget why I took this. And there was much rejoicing. So even in universe no one knows what the fuck happened here. The fuck did any of this have to do with mankind's arrogance. Also, the credits happen. Some units get their portraits shown. BUT NOT THESE LOSERS And then all the bosses get listed, for some reason. Whatever. So that was Fire Emblem Gaiden! It was an interesting experience, if nothing else. There were a lot of unusual ideas that iS put in this one, some good, some...not so much. But, in the end, it was mostly fun. For me, at least. And now, unit impressions! I don't think I ever actually used you. Luka was helpful in the early chapters, but as the game went on he ended up getting overshadowed by THE FORCE. He was my best mage. Well, at least until Dyute happened. And I think If I hadn't show such favoratism to Dyute, he probably would've stayed my best mage. Eh He was an Archer, and that's something. You were fast, I’ll give you that, Gray. But you could barely do damage for shit. FUCKING CLAIR She was a bit on the weak side at first, but once she promoted....jeez. Really came in handy, especially in the final chapters. STEVE He was a badass throughout the entire game, even if he did eventually get a bit overshadowed by the other Pallys. Still cool though, especially in the early game. THE FORCE did Doga proud. Many a point were choked by this wonderful man. Warp spell/10. Illusion was occasionally handy too. On the whole, Matilda was probably the best of my horse units over the course of the game. Girl Pallys represent. Well, you were better than Robin, at least. The Holy Bow helped him actually hit things, which was nice. You were...kinda meh. Excalibur is nice, but Cliff learns that too, so... DOOT FUCKING DUTE I don't think I need to say much at this point. Best mage/10. Fortify and Warp/10. She died to a stiff breeze, though, which was annoying on occasion. Camus was great for the chapters you had him. Funny how, with the exception of Mycen, each Paladin you get overshadows the last one. And last but not least: LIKE A BOSS Alm was my best unit, hands down. He did have some trouble with speed, but he was Thwompy enough where I rarely found that a problem. That's it for me! What an honourable citizen now see if we actually HAD Finn this game would be so much better Thus, Shinpichu and Dusko's run of Fire Emblem: Gaiden came to its end. I had a blast with it, Shin did, and I hope you viewers did too. Thank you for those who stuck with us to the very end [spoiler='little quick character review since i forgot to take pics] Celica: She was pretty decent. Angel was a godsend (I'm sorry), and her stats let her be of some use all throughout the entire game. The stat boosts helped her a bit, too Jenny: The Physic GOAT. Your healing powers and goon summoning spells were amazing. Definitely an asset May: Nice at the start of the game, but her use slowly dwindled to nothing as the game progressed. I'm guessing she got pretty screwed in the Magic department (only gained it twice in 12 levels, iirc). Was pretty much redundant once Sonia joined the crew Boey: hahaha bitch died Saber: The original MVP. Came in at a good time, with nice all-around stats to help him out. Was great at the start, and ended up being okay at the end. I thought this man was going to be the one to pull me through the entire game, but that didn't end up happening Valbo: Knight/10 (this is a good thing). Amazing physical bulk, making him a really nice tank. Just a shame he's really inaccurate. Low movement hurts him a bit, too. But his use in taking up hits was unparalleled in my army Leo: Bow/10 (again, this is a good thing). Really hit or miss, Leo. Literally. Delivered damage when he did, which unfortunately was pretty rare for him. He looked absolutely badass as a Sniper, though Catria: One of my best units. The boosts she got from that one ring made her a really outstanding unit by the end of the game. Her flying utility was very much appreciated, and not having a weakness to bow users (when they haven't got a bow equipped, that is) meant she aerial bombed pretty much most maps without fear of being killed. Once she promoted, she became my main monster killer, thanks to triple damage Palla: A little more delicate than Catria, but still pretty good. Had her equip the Steel Lance for most of the game, making her literally a one-hit wonder. She delivered the hurt nicely Kamui: Amazing. Absolutely amazing. Saber did outclass him at first, but throughout the playthrough he slowly crept up behind him and completely overshadowed him once he promoted into a Slayer. Resistance, Strength, Speed--Kamui had it all. My safest unit, and he should really be the main protagonist of Celica's route. Do well in Fire Emblem: If, lad And that's it.
