you are pretty much force to. In my experience, having less units usually makes things easier instead of harder. I just won't get all the good stuff/ random death of a unit I forgot.

First T3 will be either eli or health. dart will take time to level due to not starting off as a staff bot. anyway time do play through chapter 17.

The changes Crazycolorz is helping me implement for next version are great.

No more eclipse on the dragon.

Tactician affinity actually affects a bunch of things now. (The more, the merrier)

Augury is finally back, baby! And I'll be making it much more useful than vanilla did.

Promotion items will give stat boosts if they sit in your inventory. Now those unused elysian whips are good for something!

This final version will require a full hack restart.

actually I have to agree with you here. I was thinking of vanilla fe7 where for example, ch 15 hector can literally solo the chapter.

however in chaos mode that could be near impossible. then again hector is pretty fucking tanky with high hp so....guess it depends on the player I guess.

also I should explain what i mean by the lock rule. Its like being forced to use the lords in vanilla fe7, as long as I got space, I can use the other characters. Also note canas will always be taken as well due to being a thief. You about to see an example of what I mean below.

so allow me to explain.

turns out there is more than one way to activate the mine glitch.

the way I understood it from SDA's speedrun of Fe8 (poor runner failed cause rng fucked him with the weakest seth ever), using the mine on the selected tile changes it and makes it a "special tile".

as most of us know, if a enemy steps on that tile and you reset before it completely grey's out. you get to control the enemy side.

turns out, the torch staff does the same thing. only reason why you can't do it with a normal torch cause your unit is already on the tile and ruins the effect. plus you are already controlling your side so no point.

So whatever tile you selected, it becomes "special" like the mine tiles which means you can treat it the same way.

wait til the enemy steps on it, then reset before it grey's out and BOOM! you now get to break every fog of war and night of war chapter. (the torch staff only works in fog so no, you can't break every chapter with it.) Basically the staff is a long distance 10 use mine. awesome right?
