Maybe I can't drop items, but if I can have the enemies rescue each other, and move the hell out of my way, I should be able to do the map anyway! NOW WHAT HUH?! yay speed. 8O fuck...reset serra (+1) give canas a bolting. it was a stupid idea. snipe the lines rescue drop hector to form a wall. sigh, the bish is still in range. I rescue nils with merlinus and end my turn. no speed/10 :( *sobs* well at least dart can own his ass for a nice level. to speed this up I rescue drop eliwood near the new recruit. Imma just call this tactic the staff drop. then I realized this might not have been a good idea. yay strength. my eilwood is pure thwomp at this point. serra is barely alive with 3 hp health nearly dies but he pulled through. savestate here. I do, now GET! more loot. a lot of my dudes got wounded and not enough heals so i kill something with hector near sain so sain can heal. counter sniping none may touch dart fine. then I am quickly taught why I never used isadora. her hp sucks this late in the game. isadora (+1) and back to savestate regetting loot and levels this time i dance lyn to double kill shit. same shit once I took his pick, fucker ran off with my ring but not fast enough fuck the luna guy, he fucks up too many plans. moar levels. physic, 3 torches, and a barrier. then serra gets rekt'd by a fucking swordreaver. ugh, serra (+1) I take a 12 hour break due to a sickening inducing headache ... savestate. throw her ass on the pillar same shit as punishment, serra doesn't get a heal. she then decides to live and gets healed by the green unit of swag, good job. green nearly kills the theif who holds my body ring. fuck. and is blocking off a key position. steal. then smoke bomb him out, too many swordreavers there. speed and hp galore.com same as last time. DAMMIT THE EXTRA WAS ALMOST HERE! WILL GET! dropping a light rune here to block reavers staff drop the staff bot closer levels and cap more gold. dart still refusing to get a single point in defense yay loot confirmed. staff dropping him near me. more levels. the knights with bolting always go for her and always miss time to get ready to snipe the boss. final chest confirmed. just in case eurbans move, butting the swordreaver on top. staff drop to get my sniper rifles. one for lyn and one for sain. chip for a cap in defense nice. hmmm...not according to plan. time to juice up sain. ....I'm a fucking dumbass. seriously I have been making a lot of weird mistakes lately. I fear I am losing my edge. sigh sain and lyn are my only snipers. I have sain do 21 damage. lyn needs to crit to kill so I am fucked- HOLY SHIT! FREE LUNA and a free tome. which I sorely need. hawkeye shows up in turn 2. savestate staff drop "helloooooo" levels and a shit ton of loot. dart can 1 shot people. give S rank serra a low weight bow. spamming heals. just look at all those levels.canas also got speed too. serra just handling all problems from the north. more levels and cap. defense dart did not get. ever! holy crap if these are his unaltered growths I am so glad I never used him. another level. feel the power. this chapter is fruitful in experience. more loot and levels. on cruise control guise even more power. another level another cap. death to 100 exp bosses. another cap lol took a bit of turns but got more loot. heath gets a sex change o_o a mistress of the night arises... getting all the sand loot is taking a long time so I will be abusing that weaponless sniper up there for raven. after a bunch of turns finally got the silence. getting this tome to raven was pointless finally staff drop to that last loot. more levels. took me like 7 turns to realize I already gotten the earth seal. hahaha last mage ready to promote. my force is ready. next part is to train all staves to S rank. yay strength still looking >:( FINALLY! feed the rest to hector. no the torch helped us all out. it lit the way to power. time for my second rescue staff. He's supposed to be the ultimate glass cannon (with HP), though I think that huge con is kinda useless; it'd be more useful to someone like Raven, since anima tomes tend to be really heavy (thunder has 13 weight) and light magic is...well...light. Lightning, Shine, and Aura, which are pretty much the only useful ones, all weigh 5 or less. Even Heath can use them on promotion without AS loss. The only advantage Dart has is he can use Aureola without AS loss. But there's still Luce, which weighs Heath down by 1 when he becomes a Patriarch, and that exchanges some might and a slight def boost for speed and crit. EDIT: Actually, I forgot about Dark magic. Flux is 6, Luna is 8, Nosferatu and Eclipse are 9 weight. Heath still isn't inconvenienced. Dart CAN use Fenrir with no AS, which is the only dark tome with 3 range (Luna's kind of expensive to throw around like that), and IIRC you can only get one of those if you don't exploit any glitches. Light magic is still the way to go. Raven should get the con boost because he kind of sucks compared to Eliwood. Eliwood comes practically from the start, is required in the final chapter (and a few others), has higher hp and str growths (compared to Raven's skl/spd), and their def/res growths are reversed. I think I'll make Aura a lot heavier, like +5-8 WT, and make it 1-3 range. That should give the player incentive to use it, and Dart. Perhaps if you did those changes AND added it to a secret shop, that might be more of an incentive. Same goes for Nosferatu, incidentally. I wrote a long response to this but I passed out before posting and lost it. to summarize... - I agree, dart's niche is useless when light tomes are already light while he is fighting with well rounded health and vaida for light user spot. - I feel like raven should not be a mage at all because he is suppose to be eliwood's opposite but honestly isadora fullfills that niche way better due to her low hp but higher magic/skill/res. she is eliwood's opposite in everyway while raven is just lackluster all around. basically the worst of both worlds warped into one. As to what class he should be, the only thing I could think of is another nomad or give him isadora's stats and turn isadora into a female mercenary which would add to her uniqueness. At the end of the day though, my opinion of this hack won't change in the slightest if all raven gets is a slight buff to that con.
