Book of Ereshkigal
NoA released some pictures. Nothing new though, but better quality I guess.
Sentacotus
I'm assuming if this is released in Summer of 2015 then that means it will hit the states later then like Winter 2015?
Crimson Red
^Sounds reasonable given NoA will probably give this a quicker turn-around this time EDIT: also I kinda like Marx as a translation over Max but whatever they're just fan translations so people can use whatever they want until the official name comes out (EDIT: and technically they can always use whatever they want... it'll just be silly) Edited January 14, 2015 by Trails in the Blaze

Jean-Marc
At 1:25, is it an Halberdier or just a Knight and saw it wrong. Also, FE7if confirmed

Anacybele
...Wow. Just wow. I always thought the Japanese sucked with names, but this is so bad it's hilarious. The word isn't even capitalized. Now I actually worry what the English name will be.
Book of Ereshkigal
...er "if" is a somewhat popular 'cool English word' to use in japanese titles, it comes from "what if _____" which emphasizes choice making. (or some sort of alternate universe sequel, but I think it's got more to do with choice making based on narration) Edited January 14, 2015 by L95
Elieson
watch it be Fire Emblem then Prince's super skinny neck really bothers me. Like, I can't take my eyes off of it. Kazahana tho (Calling translated name to be inb4 "Hannah") Resident translation specialists, are the weapon names relatively standard? I doubt much would've changed, but I am curious if any of the featured artwork includes what might be considered a PRF weapon. I remember seeing Night God Blade or something, but I can't recall what it was directed to.
Book Bro
The name obviously doesn't translate over well which is why the international version isn't keeping it. Japanese audiences will interpret it differently. It doesn't mean it's a "sucky" name, it just doesn't work for an English-speaking audience. Crimson Red
Yeah, but the word by itself as a name is just really silly, imo. cultural differences and such, it's not meant to make sense to you, it's supposed to make sense to the Japanese audience, and it will ...Wow. Just wow. I always thought the Japanese sucked with names, but this is so bad it's hilarious. The word isn't even capitalized. no offense but this is more like disrespect than just "thinking it's silly" obviously Nintendo is thinking about using something more fitting for the western audience since they haven't decided on a name yet well anyway

Just Kamui's weapon, the Night Blade God (literal translation; will probably be transliterated in the Western release, i.e Wo Dao). But speaking of Wo Dao, it could as well be a non PRF weapon, just a more special one.
Aethin
I've attached a chart I compiled of all the characters we've seen so far, and I've given placeholder names to those without revealed names for ease of conversation (click and then zoom in for better view): Edit: Now fixed for Rinka and the dancer girl ("Nainin"). Edit, mk. II: I've realized that Felicia and "Sarah" are probably the same person. Oh well. Edit, mk. III: Please know that all the names with asterisks are names that I myself made up, since names haven't/hadn't been released for them yet. Most of them are just awful puns on the character's appearance or who they're with. Edited January 15, 2015 by Aethin

Also I think who you've tentatively named "Acqua" is the dancer girl from the cutscenes. Would make sense since she's in nearly every battle map. Aiddon
For those wondering about the writer, here's his Wikipedia page: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shin_Kibayashi Dude is prolific (even penning one of my favorite series, GetBackers). This is the first time he's done writing for a game and the first time he's done traditional medieval fantasy. At the very least, the guy loves supernatural stuff in his works. Arch
"Ros" looks kinda like a Halberdier to me? Not enough rocket technology to be a knight, silly. Edited January 14, 2015 by Arch
