I guess this patch doesn't work. . .. ... NEW TRY New patch, new effort! But hmm, that three fighters are new to me. Whatever. Hmm... Fighter with Handaxe. Definitely new. Pighole tactic. Oh apparently they have auto regen every turn phase, with the lord's being the strongest regen. Slow grinding. Eirika need xps. NICE LEVEL GURL Okay let's wait here. But he doesn't budge. So I attack him instead. Meh. Uh... What do I do? I have no keys. . .. ... I'm screwed. [spoiler=For real this time.] Yay for English patch? WHAT HAPPENED TO YOUR STATS I put Eirika in the choke. Smash? Valter shows up with that OP STATS. ...heh valter on falcoknight still get me. NOPE. (I was late in killing the ugly bastard.) restart. LET'S DO THIS INSTEAD. Get str pls Karla the Myrmidon and Wendy the Knight This isn't unexpected right? (Turn out I forgot to screenshot their stats. Shame on me) No thanks, pointy stick doesn't sit right with me. Free kill for Karla, gotta feed her a bit considering she's fairly weak. Wendy's going to be the chip for Karla, perfect. AXE HURTS Sure is handy having a dancer with stave rank. Feed of the feeds STR PLS STR PLS STR PLS The rage. But she crit so it's np First level gains str. #alreadybetterthaneirika Wendy grabs a level. Ninian get a particularly shitty first level. I feel like there's too many units on this chapter for my liking. Wendy get curing to go down on this petite little girl. 2 dmg with a rapier. WHERE'S THE EFFECTIVENESS? FE8GIRLPLS Meh. Things STR STR STR STR STR STR!!! There's an option in menu that say Danger. It's a variety of full enemy reach for all enemy units, like Awakening. Axe won't touch Karla anymore! GET. Had to let her hit the brigand to be in range. Fun fact. Mounted units get Canto. #Impossible screensnap to get but got. Still getting that str~ Farming teenybit WOW YOU SUX But hey she double np. Canto'd back to safety and Serra heals. That sprite you see bottom left? They're female mercenary variety of female myrmidon but with a haircut. Things as usual Okay I guess. I love watching her dance. #creep Level. WENDY TANK/CHIP! Poor Priscilla, she get doubled by mercenaries. Not lying about canto I love Ninian First level and it's great! Str and Spd all way! EVEN BETTER She'll probably be the staple of my party. Dick sucking. Truest method of killing. Wouldn't matter if it hit. You know what's the best part? Also, I heard the english patch was bad and glitched(as evidenced by all the typos), so I'm surprised it's the only one that worked for you. NEW MAP AGAIN NO ONE CARES ABOUT DIALOGUE IT'S ALL ABOUT MAPS!!!!!!! Also, two 1-tile path on sides, #1 map design. Primefusion would sobs at this terrible path design. Also, anyone notice something neat in this map? No? I'll touch on it later. Splitting party is fun isn't it? Priscilla doubles with sword, but not with lance. Weight OP Neimi follows behind Lord closely. Teamwork I later regrets my splitting. I had assumed Sonia would appears on the left side due to the stair, but... lol Oh well, not restarting. Moving on... Clarine levels. Neimi is on THE OPPOSITE SIDE as you can see :( Also no, Eirika isn't using vulnerary, it's still her lord regen. Too much action Decent... BUT GIMME STR DAMMIT. Priscilla is going to be a scary Paladin/GreatKnight (Unless they changed GreatKnight to something else too?) You know what's great about this game? Bow has full advantage against other weapons regardless of whereabout. DAT HIT RATE. While animas has rat's ass weakness against swords. Much lulz. I think In weapon triangle, when magic triangle are taken into consider against weapons, the triangle of Weapon idea are flipped when you compare tomes to weapons, (sword=light, lance=anima, axe= dark, so Sword is effective against lance-type magic which is anima. There's more to these amusement btw, I'll touch on those in the later chapters. I should make a gif of Ninian!Tethys dancing. butihavenoideahowto Yes you noticed it. YEP TORCHES ARE NPC THAT'S HOW THEY LET US SEE AREA AND SONIA WHERE SHE APPEARED. Ninian heals 1 hp each turn instead of two, something's fucky. I don't wait though. SONIA GET... I forgot her stats and weapons shot too. My bad. I'll get a screenie if I have a savestate there still. (Got them. I had savestate at boss, lucky me.) Yep, all thieves are mage now. Adios Thieves, hello Thief Mages. They also changed magic tomes stats. It's ridiculous. Here, I have screenshots of light and anima, dark coming soon, can't show because spoiling character. See? So ridiculous it's funny. So UNLIKE klok's idea of DERP TOMES DERP OP DERP GAME BREAK I should mention boss's room is pretty much 100% chokepoint, you can't get in there without having enemy units on your 4 sided asses and potentially kill you. Clarine isn't faring too well. Might bench. Nice palette tho. See? The difference between tomes are so obvious it's not even good. The perk of either is that Lightning has crit while Fire is lighter allowing double.. considering thief mage has really poor con... I think Sonia has 5. I plugs the boss room with Priscilla and Wendy alternating when one get low. (YES WENDY GET HURT TOO. THOSE AXES ARE FUCKING OP) PRISCILLA GET DOUBLED TOO, THAT MAKES IT ALL MORE BAD. THIS HACK 2 HARD ;~; Things while stripping boss room TERRIBLE Str, but TERRIBLE I'm serious, there's so many units in boss's room they're feeding Priscilla LOT of exps... I even considered benching her for later chapter because she leveled so much. Despite being the same level, Priscilla can solo two Eirika. That's how good Priscilla is. Wendy is hardly making cut. (Sonia looted the other side as enemy, she got Torch and an Iron Blade.) Levels. FUCK No worries, I save state. Things turning sour. Slim Lance. :\ Free kill WOW Wendy manages to live with one hp at the end of enemy brigands constant handaxing. Yeah I'm benching her if I have to. Never benching Ninian tho. SO IT BEGINS. (I do this for like 30 turns grinding her, so she can hit 10 lvl. I'm cheapstake but this is what I do with Ross in vanilla anyway HAHAHAHA) Ninian got free xps so who's complaining. Don't need to worry about breaking weapons as missing give a good bit of exps (not 1 like it is in vanilla, i think it's maybe 5 or 10.) You're wondering why karla's in there too? I made a mistake a couple time and got handaxed so I had to make him "reset" weapon for Guenever to grind again. Guenever didn't die no worries :v Done. NOT QUITE. There's a loot in this map that's findable. I got curious about a certain tile you see, it was so odd to have a path with nothing there, so I scouted it out. It's B ranked so Neimi can't use it tho. (Red Gem are worth 2500 still but they come in a group of three. so 7500 in total each gem lol) Limstella, she's one of my favorite character. Map changed too. Yeah, she uses dark magic... BUT WAIT. SONIA USES LIGHT MAGIC, SO WHY...? Answer: Thief Mage only equips anima, Sonia and Limstella were designed to equip an extra spell. Light for Sonia, Dark for Limstella. It's amusing really. GUESS WHAT? PROMOTION Wyvern of course. WyvernKnight all way! Benching Wendy. Priscilla is basically her with mobility and sword. :\ Full map. Limstella is better than Sonia if you want offense. Thus I'm going with her instead of Sonia, beside... Limstella's my fave as I said. Good work ladies. This is another village that gives two items, forgot what's the other one, it's mainly unimportant. Need vision on that monster for Guenever to pwn. I'm moving west, better than splitting up and losing units to monsters' inflated stats. Between sequence. She will never double. Forgot to capture stats until I remembered a turn later. Work Karla pls. Never mind. Forest dodge OP Natasha is no longer that nice cleric sprite. :c First. I'm giving you a clear idea of what the map looks like. You starts OUTSIDE the city, there is a large gate to the left that has no protective area unless you're willing to charge right into their territory, or fall back a bit and hide on the side walk forest. Or you could move right to a safer path that has one tile entryway (where we are now) that offers zero protection but less enemies, but require MORE turns to move through due to 1 tile pathing in entry and through households. Basically, unlike the original map, this takes longer. They also still spawn the brigands but on a couple of turns later to give you time to reach the villages that's rather far. Oshit moments. This chapter is particularly boring, so forgive my boring screenshot layout, nothing interesting out of them. STRSTRSTRSTRSTR Her great levels has all but been combo-break Oshit moment again Reset. I decides to go mobility this time, the fighter that killed Guenever had a raiding brigand next to him that turn that would had raided a village if Guenever wasn't alive. I get Echidna with Clarine. I really hate RNG sometime... hahaha You know what. I'll just skip ahead to where I'm actually doing things without boredom. Here's a level before then. She hardly ever get chance to heal. STR! :D I got this snap again. I guess I'm good. Now they're starting to be fewer in numbers, but that's not the end of reinforcement. They ALWAYS get reinforcement -.- Here! The thunder type magic has effectiveness against wyvern mounts. :\ Fire has effectiveness against monsters. Flux apparently has effectiveness against staff. Uncertain about lightning. I should considering letting her sit back but no. 20 is a must now! Good level...? I clear a path to Fa. :D Of course her hit sucks... Gains the stat she DOESN'T NEED! Phew. Clearing out stragglers now I guess. Teamwork Yeah... benched. Clean up in aisle 6 No. Fa is having fun. Feeding Limstella some exp. Gonna want her promoted soon. Torch. I guess I'll want it for torch glitch. I also purchased some heal staffs, and some steel weapons. This is bullshit No problem! Good level. Limstella get the boss kill. Fun fact. These promotion items come in a group of two, so you can use it twice. Same concept as Fe7if I believe. Next time~ Eirika's Sister shows action.
