It just makes sense for veteran archers to be able to improve their shooting distance with battle experience. After all, Snipers don't have any other weapons to waste their time on. :P As for the buff to bow users... Archers and Snipers have always been regarded as the weakest class in most games in the series. Classes that can use bows in addition to other weapons such as Warriors at least have another weapon to rely on, whereas Archers and Snipers are "terrible because they can't counterattack on the enemy phase." The problem extends to Archer Knights/Bow Knights/Nomads but their increased movement usually makes up for their bowlock. I'd still like bow knights at least to have some sort of a buff, though, especially if they decide to bring back the Jugdral Bow Knights who are bowlocked even after promotion.
