Aurion_Emblem Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 so tough, so tough...how can I choose one? ones that immediately come to mind are -Finally Beating Super Mario 64...in 2003...I couldn't beat it when I initially had it, so I left it alone for a few years... -Finally Beating Luigi's Mansion...in 2005...same thing... -Finally Beating Super Mario Sunshine...in 2006...hmm, what game did I finally beat in '04? -Completing my Pokedex in Ruby...only one in the series...I hate Tauros *cough 149 caught cough*...there are too many in Pearl... -Playing through Tales of Symphonia with Amarao last summer...that was fun, I came over every other day for a few weeks and we beat the game...for the first time... -Getting negative posts on the forums -Beating Ikaruga well it would be the last one...except Ikaruga is impossible to beat unless you have crazy, insane, mad, Japanese hacking, 1337 skills... so we'll go with ToS, it was not a moment, but more of a time frame/period in my life where things just were great... Zephrion Posted February 18, 2008 Share Posted February 18, 2008 Ah, I got a real one now. This was about 6 or 7 years back... One day a friend and me were playing through Yoshi's Story. We decided to go with the Pink Yoshi first, with the intent of it getting captured first (Keep in mind, we weren't TRYING to get it captured, we just knew it would at some point), so we could both laugh about it and go "lolpinksux". Yeah... Anyway, we sort of took turns going through the levels with the Pink Yoshi, clearing level upon level without it getting captured, until we finally beat the game. Without losing one Yoshi. Needless to say, we thought this was pretty amazing, as this had never happened with any other Yoshi. We laughed about it, going "lolpinkrox." Yeah... So, from that day on, whenever we played Yoshi's Story, we chose the Pink Yoshi first, taking it as a sort of good luck charm. And that's my story... About Yoshi's Story. Hmm... I was cocky enough to play very hard with only 3 lives so i could unlock him. I beat it without losing a life, and i got super pissed that i didnt unlock him. So i owned normal and got him. Enn Posted February 25, 2008 Share Posted February 25, 2008 Playing Seiken Densetsu III. Upon hearing my favorite game wásn't the last true Secret of Mana, I looked for and ended up loving SDIII. Like Aurion_Emblem, it was just a time when life was grand. After days of seemingly endless summer and fun, I'd play SDIII when the sun was slowly going down.
