Makaze Posted March 24, 2015 Share Posted March 24, 2015 (edited) kinda like this. what if crit is based all around false info that doesn't help anybody? is it still constructive crit? i mean, if the intent is there, and both the positive and negative feedback is there... Whether the advice is "valid" or not is subjective when it comes to art. There are cases where giving an idea is objectively not useful. If you said something like "setting it to grayscale mode will make it more colorful" then you are stating a falsehood and are not being constructive. But if you say something like "using grayscale mode may look better" that can be constructive. You can't be "wrong" about what is more appealing.
