MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 4 part 1]This part only consists of dialogues again.I apologize it's the third part in a row without battling.Don't worry in the next part you'll see my units in action!Promised ;)Garath really survived.Renair's journal:This is Ganter. He already was mentioned in chapter 2: Actually my units except for Crowe aren't deserters...Oh interesting, this is Farrell. The leader of the Darkwrights and Sarka's father. He seems to be a very powerful sage.He wears a monocle like Canas.Ganter is only a marionette as all the other Darkwrights...Driscoll and Ganter have a very honest and trustful relationship.Nevermind! I think the same goes for Driscoll. OMG! He's really BACK in flesh and blood! No, I saved Cajel by the Darkwrights!Of course he doesn't believe her. When I read this, I thought I had to let as many enemies as possible alive in the upcoming chapter.Once more the advice that I shall let the cavaliers alive. I ignored this hint and killed them all. What would happen, if I let them alive? Edited April 23, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
eclipse
I ignored this hint and killed them all. What would happen, if I let them alive? You save on weapon uses, and get less experience. In terms of plot. . .nothing that I'm aware of!
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 4 part 2]Now the preparation menu of chapter 4:First thing:I accidently forgot to check, how many units you can bring to this chapter. You can bring 8 of your 9 units.I left Crowe at home, which wasn't my intention.Of course I wanted to give Garath a little break to recover from his wounds.I'll check my rank:The combat is increased. Good!Dahlia can't fight, but she does an alternate useful job:Dahlia does exactly the same as the old woman and Nils did in FE7:She'll give you a few tips about the upcoming chapter for a little payment.(Nils did it for free, if I remember correctly)Let's see, what she says:Annoucement of reinforcements.Means effective weapons and the obtained lancereaver from the previous chapter are handy.Obvioulsy she mentions Driscoll, the guy who had a long talk with Ganter. He's recruitable.Renair probably must talk to him, because she's the leader.Thank you!Now a look about the map:There are a few mercenaries, a myrmidon, a fighter, a couple of soldiers and a few cavaliers. The cavaliers have pretty decent balanced stats: Good strength, speed and defense. They can use swords and lances like in the GBA games.Hopefully I get one soon.Unlike in the GBA games the soldier class does not suck anymore!0 speed and defense belong to the past! However they aren't that powerful. The soldiers also have a different sprite than in the regular GBA games. I quite like it!Ganter is the boss. He's a cavalier with a spear, a much more powerful and more accurate version of the javelin. It also has a decent critrate. He's already the reason to bring the ranseur and the lancereaver to this map.Driscoll is a fighter so he could replace Garath.Renairs will try to convince him to change the side. You'll see four houses, an amory, a shop and a closed village.Maybe this village will open its gate during this chapter. Now Katrina will help us too.She has exact the same task as Merlinus in FE7.She will manage the supply in this chapter. You can give her and take weapons and items of her.If she survives, she will get a level up and better stats in the next chapter. If she dies, the supply in this chapter (the things you gave her) will be gone and she won't get a level up.However you can bring her to the next map again. Now let's begin chapter 4:It's a defeat boss mission. This map is surprisingly very small and there aren't many enemies.Maybe it will change soon.Turn 1 As I mentioned in the previous part I won't let any enemies alive. Eclipse told me it was the right decision. The map theme of chapter 4 is another remix of The Time to Act from FE3 book 1 / FE11. Though this one is sliightly different than the remix in chapter 1. The map theme of chapter 3 is the original version of Determination from FE8 (map theme of the chapters in Ephraim's route). Finally speed! It's her first point, if I remember correctly.Enemy phaseIlanice and Chester dodge.(He's in a thicket)The javelin does almost no damage.Turn 2Garath's epic critical! Not his last one in this chapter.(I have some trouble to catch it at the right time)Here you see the greatness of the ranseur:Effective against cavaliers.Enemy phaseDriscoll attacks. Great! Now I can get him in turn 3 already! This lady is shown. This is Lia.She's a troubadour and has a mend stuff.Another healer in my team would be great. She appears as a NPC-unit.I have no idea, if she recruits herself or someone must talk to her.In turn 3 Renair must recruit Driscoll first before he does any stupidities.Turn 3Her skill is still bad. Fire has an accuracy of 90.Renair talks to Driscoll.Probably because she's no one...He can give us more information about Farrell.Driscoll shall become Garath's replacement. He's only level 6, but his stength, skill and speed are almost the same as Garath's.Only his defense and resistance are obvious worse. The only generic problem I have with fighters in the GBA games is their low hitrate.I try to give him a few levels and then I'll compare them.Typical.Enemy phaseThe animations are still on "solo" so Driscoll has only map animations yet. Here's another strange thing:Lia acts as a NPC.She heals Amelia, although she has full HP!Then her weapon rank increase is shown. Is this scripted or is it a glitch? Turn 4Renair can talk to her.Not yet!Another healer, furthermore a mobile one is very welcome for my team! She's very delicate so don't put her in any attack ranges. @ Eclipse Wow! That's actually a pretty amazing reward I have missed. @The Moniker Interesting, didn't know about that. Thanks! TheMoniker
So, Lia's healing-with-full-HP thing is a standard bug that pretty much ALL green FE healers have. Fixing it would involve altering the base code of the game. It's only there because FE7 didn't actually have any green healers; it's probably fixed on the FE8 engine. because that game DID. Blaze The Great
Wow, I'm getting more and more impressed with this hack. Is it full length? Please tell me it is. Now if only Road to Ruin would get finished...
TheMoniker
Wow, I'm getting more and more impressed with this hack. Is it full length? Please tell me it is. Now if only Road to Ruin would get finished... It's up to Chapter 14, but there's a route split at I think 6, and one gaiden per route, so there's really way more than just 14. Blaze The Great
Awesome. This is really a great hack.
MisterIceTeaPeach
Some people have already noticed there will be two routes in this hack. Here's my plan:I will show you both routes. However I will go straight forward for one route first. Then I will do a little break till I will show you the second path. This hack is longer than I expected so I need a few weaks to take a breather. If I reach the point when the route begins to split, I'll manage a poll. You decide which route I will play first.I do not need any reasons for your choice.A vote in the poll will be enough for me. [spoiler=Chapter 4 part 3]Reinforcements are arrived next to my tent: Two cavaliers. They appear before the player phase.I should have known about that happening, if I had read this line:Now Karina has a serious problem.I don't want to send all my units to her, because I don't care if the tent will be destroyed.I only Garath send to her. This chapter is ridiculous easy so far.All the enemies except for a mercenary, the boss and the two reinforcements are defeated already in turn 4.Information about the country Vishara.Enemy phaseTurn 5Karina is surrounded and more cavaliers are appeared in the entrance area.Garath tries to safe her, but he can't double and 1RKO the cavaliers unfortunately. No thanks!I don't want to sacrifice any of my combat units to rescue a tent.Garath must deal with them all alone. Now the road ahead to the boss is clear.Enemy phaseAfter this short conversation a brigand with a poison axe from the cave will appear before the enemy phase.Poison axes are pretty good in this game. They're more powerful and accuracte than in the GBA games.Garath even misses the first one, because that cavalier is in the thicket.Katrina is still alive, because she's in the thicket too.Turn 6More reinforcements! It becomes slowly tight for Karina...Garath can kill at least one, but it doesn't help me a lot... I only buy two heal staves for Asher and Lia.A short geography lesson. This chapter takes place in Aukema.Enemy phaseGarath can kill two. The second one was a critical hit.Katrina is still alive.Turn 7New reinforcements:Two wyvern knights appear: One in the north-western and another one in the south-eastern area. Therefore no more cavaliers appear. As usual they have good strength and defense, but also decent speed.Unlike pegasus knights they only can use one weapon yet: lancesStill two cavaliers are left.Driscoll's first kill?Of course not!I hate fighters. Then Chester must do it.NiceThere's only way to save Karina:Killing Ganter in this turn!Renair needs one critical hit.Of course no critical hit :/Well then my units can have still time to do other stuff:This armory has a retarded spot:It's in the 2 attack range of the boss.I don't need anything of it.Instead my units do homevisits:Interesting!Oh really?!Not interesting!Enemy phaseDriscoll only can't hit, he also can't dodge. Poisoned! There she's gone...I don't count this one as death!Ugh, I accidently put my troubadour in the attack range of one of the dracos. She dodges.Still no critical hit.Not too bad so anyone else can finish him off.Turn 8Chipdamage for experience.Time to finish this chapter:Damn it!At least she dodges too.I must simply must trust the 68%...(She has boosts thanks to her C-support with Ilanice)YEAH!A nice level up is the reward for this! eclipse
That's the Chester I know and love! As for Driscoll. . .he's really hit or miss. If he hits, he'll be at about Garath's level, minus the bows. If he misses. . .it's gonna suck.
TheMoniker
If you didn't stock up now, be absolutely certain to stock up GOOD next chapter(and leave some guards for the tent, too), because there's gonna be a long stretch where you have no ways to get new weapons and might run out. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler= Chapter 4 part 4]Driscoll gives us a few information about Farrell:He only trusts himself at the wrong time. He's only afraid Driscoll will outstrip him...Chapter 4 ends [spoiler= Chapter 5 part 1]Sounds like an escape mission.Renair's journal:It's at night.Looks like a FoW map.My units are obviously spotted.Kolbane is overruled once more.Driscoll is bored too.Kolbane carries them the news.Driscoll and Chester like this decision...... while old man is grumbling once more.Kolbane must bring him good arguments once more.It convices him.Preparations: You can bring all your units to this map, what I'll do of course. It's a Fug of War map.You can't see any enemies yet. There are two villages...... an armory, a shop and a couple of houses to visit. The augury:Either reinforcements will appear very soon from the beginning or it's a mission to complete in a turn limit.Probably I get a new ally in this village:The boss is stationary.Boss has low resistance. Most likely a knight.Should my units send to the north side.(Would have done it anyway, because there's another village I have to visit)Hmm, sounds interesting.A hidden item?I don't bring Karina to this map, because I was warned about reinforcements.Chapter 5 is a seize mission. You have to seize this fort in 21 turns. The Fug of War doesn't make this chapter a cakewalk.Unfortunately I don't have a torch stave so I can't move too far.I will put units with high HP and defense in the frontline.Renair, Garath and Kolbane are the best contenders for this task.I won't split my team, because I don't know what kind of enemies I have to expect.Don't forgot Chester! Since he's a thief he has a better sight than the rest of my team.Since it's a chapter to beat in a turn limit, I'll play this chapter more agressively than I normally would do in a FoW map.The map theme is Shadow approaches from FE7. Expectable, becuase it's the theme in each FoW map in FE7.Turn 1For a prepromoted unit not too bad.Now I can see a mercenary.Enemy phaseHe attacks me. The myrmidon doesn't move to block the village.Turn 2Quality over quantity. I can take it!Chester kills the damaged mercenary and gets healed after that.Asher visits the village...... and gets the most hliarious named sword in FE, the bastard sword.= armorslayer Too heavy for each of my swordusers.Garath will be used as wall once more.Enemy phaseHe gets poisoned. If you didn't stock up now, be absolutely certain to stock up GOOD next chapter because there's gonna be a long stretch where you have no ways to get new weapons and might run out. Did it! I used the golden edge a little bit too much. Only about 20 uses are left. Bought a couple of iron swords for Renair to save it and leave some guards for the tent, too Left Karina home in this chapter. Thank you for the advices! MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler= Chapter 5 part 2]I have added a few images in part 1.So don't wonder, why this part starts at turn 3.Turn 3I wished I had a restore stave already. One soldier and a mercenary are in my sight now. Though the soldier is on the other side of the river so he can't attack me.Garath moves farther southwards.Driscoll will decoy the soldier with the short spear.Enemy phaseGarath can double and kill him, because this solider has AS penalty with his steel lance.Unfortantely Driscoll can't.Turn 4Nothing happens in player and enemy phase. Some units like Renair catch up with my team. Before turn 5 starts, this happens:A dark mage appears and he's automatically an ally!Gabriel is a dark mage with pretty high magic already. The other stats are pretty good too.He has a flux tome, which he can use without AS penalty. The problem is that he's apart of my group.Since I haven't decoyed any enemies in this area, I don't know how many enemies can attack him. There's a knight with a short spear next to him.I highly doubt it will be the only enemy, who can attack him in the next enemy phase.Knights have a complete different sprite than in the GBA series. They look more similar to the GBA generals. Great design!Knights have tons of defense, but are vulnerable against magic.Gabriel could 1RKO him.At least I can send him to this thicket. His HP and defense could be high enough that he can survive two hits.Renair can support with Garath. Now Renair has a support and Garath a second one already. Nice! Thanks Chester I can see lots of enemies now. This chapter even features draco knights. Nasty!Enemy phase The lancereaver is the best weapon against them.Turn 6Gabriel was attacked twice, but only hit once. This knight is obvious stationary.Enemy phaseDespite weapon triangle disadvantage he hits.Turn 7Reinforcements!A cavalier appears on the fort next to Asher.More reinforcements are appeared, but they aren't in my sight yet.Lots of enemies are chasing me from behind.Driscoll and Kolbane will change their position.Kolbane has a weapon triangle advantage against the fighters and doesn't need to waste his lancereaver.Crowe is only here to do chip damage.Great first level up!Wow, Ilanice can double stuff!Thankfully the ranseur doesn't give her AS penalty.Meh!More speed and more defense. Excellent!Unfortunately not his first kill. He missed once.Amelia must kill him instead.Chester visits the village:Ok, probably someone else must / should visit it. It must be Gabriel. He gets a torch. Would I have gotten something else, if Gabriel had visited it? Enemy phaseKolbane can double a fighter now!More speed!Slow, but steady he turns into my second "godly" unit after Renair.Welcome to the poison longbow in Fire Emblem! It never appeared in a regular FE game.It has the same accuracy and weight as the iron long bow.Enemy archers will have AS penalty.Turn 8More reinforcements are appeared .(from the spots as in the previous turn)Now Gabriel's first kill!Kill the long bow crap at once!I've rescued Chester with Lia.His defense isn't good enough to be on the frontline. TheMoniker
Heading up north and then moving down, instead of going through the beach? That's an odd choice of route... Seems to be working well enough, though. If you had visited that village with Gabriel, they would have been all "NO, JUST LEAVE" and you would have gotten nothing. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler= Chapter 5 part 3]Enemy phaseEpic critical! His first one!Though the enemies hit him with terrible hitrates. Poisoned!Turn 9Crowe can finally kill something. ... at least it's the stat he needed the most.Only two stats, but speed is appreciated. Before each player turn a cavlier appears from this fort. Good training for Ilanice.NOW I HAVE ENOUGH OF SHITTY LEVEL UPS IN THIS CHAPTER!!!No more poisoned by this guy.Lia drops Chester so that he can act in the next turn again.Gabriel uses a portionEnemy phaseTurn 10Almost the half of the turn limit is passed.I'm coming through very well so far.Reinforcements still appear, but they're no huge problem for my units anymore.Gabriel's second kill.Renair will be placed in a thicket. She's almost invisible and can weak the enemies.Chester uses a torch:Now I can see the boss:Indeed the boss is a knight.High strength and defense, but not so great resistance and speed.Amelia can double him.Enemy phaseWell, Renair is NOT invisible. This fighter hits her with 5%!!! A new record!Oh, she can still dodge.Turn 11I really should save my wing spear.NiceHe misses. Means no level up for him yet.So Garath must kill him. There are a couple of archers left. One of them has an iron long bow.Enemy phaseNow she can dodge like a boss.Turn 12I'm very close to the boss already.Only the archers are a little bit nasty. There are actually three archers left now.I'm going to try to kill as many enemies as possible in this turn. The most wanted stats! Excellent! Both archers have long bows (iron and poison). So I have to put Ilanice out of the shit.Enemy phaseI overuse the golden edge in this chapter. She has only about 20 uses left. More than 50% are already gone.I will buy a few iron swords in the armory for her to save the golden edge in the next chapters.Long bows have a terrible hitrate.Though it doesn't prevent my units to get hit.Renair is poisoned once more in this chapter.Turn 13In the next turn I can attack the boss. There are more knights...Though only one of them can attack Chester so he will be fine.No more archers in this chapter!Another poor level up.Though I can forgive this one, because Renair's previous level ups really kicked ass!Why not?Yes, I knew and already mentioned it...Enemy phaseTurn 14Also the stats I want to see!Ilanice will be attacked by the boss in the enemy phase.I think these are different names for energy drop, draco shield...Only this knight is left besides the boss.Enemy phaseBoss time:He misses and she hits twice.Turn 15Sure!Success!At least she's on a speed roll.Anna wasn't very kind to me in this chapter.A little bit treading so I can buy a few things.I have no supply, because I didn't bring Karina to this map.Turn 16This armory has the hatchet, the more powerful and accurate version of the hand axe from FE8. Of course I buy one. Moreover I buy a couple of iron swords.Unfortunately I don't have more slots...Enemy phaseA knight from nowhere.Turn 17There's another one:Once more I need a free slots.I buy a couple of fire tomes and a flux tome. Now time to seize! It was my favorite map so far. I love fug of war maps in general, but I also like the huge variety of enemy classes in this chapter: mercenaries, fighters, soldiers, knights, archers, cavaliers and draco knights. @ The MonikerThanks! Was actually lucky. As I have tried to explain:I didn't want to split my team. I send all my units towards north just because of the village. And yes, it worked pretty well. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler= Chapter 6 part 2]The crucial battle comes up!As in some other FE games each ally has a motivation quote...My favorite!... except for Kolbane, because he's still pissed that he must leave his homecountry. The preparations:Chapter 6 is a huge map. There are tons of enemies of pretty much each physical class: soldiers mercenaries myrmidons archers (mainly with poison longbows) knights cavaliers very few fighters wyvern knights A few enemies are even level 2.I already was warned that I should buy some weapons for this chapter. Now I know, why! There are also two ballistas in this chapter. The other one is in the eastern area. There are two houses in this map I have forgotten to visit. This chapter features two bosses:Holy shit, it's Farrell!Look at these stats: Maxed strength, skill, speed, and defense! He's no sage (as I thought), but a dark knight.Dark knights can use lances and bows (= silver knights in FE10).Don't worry! Of course, you don't have to fight him yet!He will disappear after a few turns. The real boss is this guy:Another knight. However more powerful than the previous one. Here's the guy, who obviously wants to desert.Juan is a wyvern knight.I don't know, if he recruits himself (hopefully does) or someone must talk to him.Augury:Sounds intense:On the one hand I must charge, but on the other hand the enemies come towards me.Hmm, it doesn't answer the question, how I can get him. Probably Juan gives a hint.Already noticed!Ok, sounds interesting. However I have no idea, what she's talking about. No, thanks!Ilanice probably must talk to Juan.Wait... I have a Tana x Cormag déja vu!Ok, let's begin chapter 6:Like in the previous chapter you must seize in a turn limit, to be precise in 19 turns. If you think this chapter is easier because of the missing Fug of War, then not a bit of it!You have fight lots of enemies in the first turns. They will all come to you.Again: Quantity instead of quality. The enemies aren't that tough anymore, but their number is huge. You must charge to the south, but you also must turtle. After a couple turns you will be surrounded by enemies of the south and the west, because Juan's wyvern army will move too.You must protect your healers very carefully.I can say so much: I was very lucky in at least two situations. Turn 1First I kill the enemies, who are in my attack range.Another problem I have:Since Ilanice is pretty slow and weak, I must use the ranseur a lot in this chapter.Enemy phase100% dodging is a good start!Turn 2Do you see, how many units are alreasy close to me?90% of the enemies will move.I must kill as many enemies as possible in this turn, but I also musn't surrender my front line.My front line.Ilanice can be attacked only once except she does an unlucky critical.Garath and Renair are so tanky that they can take a few hits.Enemy phaseRenair is poisoned. The are lots of enemies with poison weapons (mainly archers with poison longbows). Now Farrell is leaving.Turn 3Now it becomes really problematic:I'm surrounded by enemies from the south and the wyvern knights from the west. Now I must look for a good plan to kill all the weaken enemies and to build a front line against the wyvern knights.I also must keep on eye on Juan. No one should kill him in the enemy phase. My plan:Must hope for that.Garath shall equip the bow so that the wyvern knights prefer to attack him.It works! No magic and speed, but tankier.Alright.All the enemies in the south are dead! Now I must defend against the wyvern knights from the west.Kolbane equips the lancereaver to have a weapon triangle advantage.Garath with the bow, Renair in the thicket and Kolbane build the front line against the wyvern. However it's not impossible to cover all my fragile units.Juan has a javelin and could attack Lia.It doesn't matter, because she can survive one hit.Placement of my units.Hopefully it will work!Enemy phaseThis was my intention...... but this defintitely NOT! Didn't check the attack range of this guy. PS: I took this screenshot too early! She has three HP left.F**k! If the poison does three damage, she will be dead! They don't Garath for some reasons.Expected:Juan attacks Lia. She survives.Actually this wasn't planned either.Chester could die too! However the hitrates are terrible.Yeah, this chapter is hard!Tons of enemies, who can attack you from so many spots. The long bow archers are the most annoying part in this chapter.Turn 4I closed my eyes at the moment, when Ilanice got poison damage.I was a lucky bastard!!! Actually I was lucky twice, because she dodged the knight with a hitrate of 60%. I really must bet on these low hitrates. One longbow archer less and not get poisoned! Excellent!Ilanice recruits him: Edited April 23, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler= Chapter 6 part 3] Juan is a wyvern knight with high strength and defense. His speed and skill are only slighty worse.Another good front unit.Only keep an eye on enemy bow and ballista users. He loses one AS point, if he equips the steel lance.I forgot to mention one thing about Juan's recruitment:When he's on your side, his three assistants become NPC units. They will help you to kill the enemies in the NPC phase.Unfortunately I have killed one of the wyverns with Crowe in the previous episode. I don't know, if you get something special if all Juan's wyvern knights survive. I highly doubt it, because it's almost impossible to keep them alive. There are so many long bow archers and ballistas, who can wreck them easily. Gabriel doesn't get poisoned!Juan's first victory.Yes!Now it looks much better for me now.Only an archer with a poison long bow, a cavalier and a myrmidon are left. The NPCs will go for this archer most likely. If they can't kill him, the archer will kill one of them instead.Ambush spawn of a soldier!Enemy phaseThough he doesn't care about weapon triangle disadvantage. He doesn't care that he will be doubled.Godthanks the RNG-Goddess and the A.I. help me a lot in this chapter so far.Only one NPC is still alive.NPC phaseOf course this wyvern knight can't double and kill him.I have no chance to kill this archer in the next turn, because he's on a hill.Ilanice can't reach him.So I will lose the last remaining NPC.Turn 5So many stats again... BUT still no speed. Her speed growth so far: 1/6Garath shold deal with all these enemies. The ballista archer can spend his first shot on him.Though I've changed my plan. This is my frontline for the enemy phase:Enemy phaseDriscoll takes serious damage here.He will survive the ballista.(have calculated the maximum damage before)The ballista hits Driscoll, but he survives (with I believe 5 HP).The last NPC goes down.Turn 6Time to kill this bastard!A little bit risky, BUT Juan could help her out too.It works! Now all the nasty enemies are dead. The ballista isn't that bad. From this fort a cavalier reinforcement will appear before each player turn. This explains the poor hitrate.I must occupy this spot immediately.Anna is still very kind to me!More speed. Yes!Excellent, also the level ups in this chapter are very satisfying. She has leveled exact these stats 3/4.Chester blocks the fort and Driscoll will decoy this knight.Enemy phaseRenair is my #1 in getting poisoned! And of course I forgot to check he has a 2 range weapon...Turn 7More than 1/3 of the turn limit is passed already.I think I have survived the worst part.Cavalier reinforcements appear before each player phase, but they're no huge problem. In this turn I must kill the first of the two enemy ballistas:He misses once.Only one real nasty enemy on the map is left!Enemy phaseGabriel can easily survive two hits.Turn 8I forgot to block the fort. A cavalier is appeared once more (next to my two healers). In this turn I can reach the bridge and block the cavalier reinforcements from the south.I waste almost all the uses of ranseur in this chapter :<Reminds me on Leonardo a little bit: Luck and resistanceExcellent!Renair and Juan block the bridge.Renair is a little bit damaged, but she can be attacked only once. She will survive all the way.Enemy phaseTurn 9Alright level up.You see I place Renair apart of my main group.Lots of enemies will attack her in enemy phase. She could die theoretically, but I bet on her great dodging abilities. She shall weak them so other units can finish them off.Enemy phase1st enemy hits.2nd enemy hits despite weapon triangle disadvantage.3rd enemy hits.Is my luck leaving me? (if she has equipped the golden edge, she would survive all enemy attacks)Two more enemies are on the way to her, who can kill her! Will I get my first death and my first Game Over at the same time... ...or will she show us her badass side?To be continued... MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler= Chapter 6 part 4]Godthanks he misses! Now only the ballista archer can attack her, who can't do 10 damage. He even moves and attacks with the steel bow!Awesome!I can kill him in the next turn without any problems. You have already noticed that I didn't have the best day, when I played this chapter.I did a couple of huge mistakes (put Ilance in the attack range of an archer) and played very risky in some points.Though it was my pure intention to decoy all the enemies with Renair in this turn.I expected her to dodge the attack of the fighter at least because of the weapon triangle advantage. In general I'm an aggressive player, who calculates on the RNG.So I take the risk!Turn 10I must kill these six enemies. One cavalier will appear as ambush spawn before the next enemy phase. I must ensure to kill all the crap so that my healers can be attacked by only one enemy at worst.Stupid fort.I also must occupy it this turn to stop the appearing of more reinforcements from this spot.Good!50% is done so far! These three remaining enemies shouldn't be a huge problem for me.I still have lost of units, I can use.Only one cavalier is left!Good! Now I should take this chapter! No more huge problems on this map except for the ambush spawn of a cavalier after my turn and the appearing of another cavalier before the next player phase.Strength and speed are appreciated.Enemy phaseThe ambush cavalier attacks Lia.Turn 11Not too amazing, but she had enough great level ups so far.Speed is almost capped.Boss time:No, this will be probably a longer fight.Enemy phaseAgain an ambush cavalier from the fort next to Chester appears.Turn 12Amelia does an excellent job in hitting things with 50%."Micaiah-level-up"Speed!All her level ups are great so far.So much magic and speed.Better than Asher at all the way! I haven't mentioned it in the previous chapter. Hatchet is only a 1 range weapon unlike in FE8.Round #3.The boss will change to the poison lance in the next enemy turn, because Garath is in melee range.Enemy phaseMore ambush spawning...Now the boss is so much damaged that Amelia should kill him in the next turn.Turn 13 Before I'm going to kill the boss, I want to get as much experience for my units as possible.Asher has more magic than Lia, but he's also four levels higher than her.Lia has already more speed. That would do it!Though the hitrate isn't that great...... so I need Ilanice for the support boosts.3% more hitrate.I can't get more than 68% so I must try it.If she misses once, she can still kill him in the enemy phase.Missed once. The boss will heal himself because of the throne boostsAmelia must hit him twice in the enemy turn.Enemy phaseYes!Though her level up isn't all that great. Pity!Turn 14Finally it's done!Puh... this was by far the most challenging and stressful chapter for me.However a very fun one!Without the mercy of the RNG-Goddess I would have lost at least one unit for sure.Hopefully I won't do any stupid mistakes in the following chapters like I did in this one.Renair was a little bit faster...Is this Nephenee's husband? The armor has pretty much the same color. The guy on the left looks like a knight.Would make sense, because I don't have a soldier and a knight in my team yet.(also no cavalier yet) Viscount Fearghus and Argus. (Roman names)Renair in "rage-mode" again. After Renair had told them Farrell's about true intentions, the two ex-prisoners decided to accompany my team. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler= Chapter 6 part 5]He probably hasn't enough spied. I still think he's a traitor. Juan introduces himself. Now here's the point, when I have to decide for one path: Musain: Onduris: So here's the question:Which route shall I play first?Musain or Onduris.I'll definitely play and show you both routes. However I'll go straight forward for one route first. If I have finished it, I will do a longer break of 1-2 months till I continue with the second route. This poll will last till 4 PM CET (10 AM EST). I do NOT need any reason(s) for your choice. A vote in the poll is enough! Ansem
Musain is harder, but a little more rewarding in terms of characters IMO
