MisterIceTeaPeach
Have completed chapter 9a too yesterday. I'm out the entire day so I will upload the next part and reply any comments tomorrow. First. . .Ramvirius is a personal weapon. Ah ok. Pity! Actually it was obvious, because Arcus indirectly mentioned it in 6x. So I'm 95% sure that only Renair can use the rapier. Second. . .Crowe gets a bajillion lines because he's awesome. Unfortunately I have no place for him in my team at the moment. His stats are meh. My two magic users are better fighters from the distance. However it seems to be that my second flying units turns out badly as well so maybe he will still get a chance... Third. . .if you want this to be a general LP thread, make sure that the thread title reflects this AND make a small blurb about it in the first post. Yeah, I know already, what I have to do. ;) Though I won't do it till I have reuploaded the first Midnight Sun part. eclipse
It's Ramrivus you guys always spell it wrong My notes have it as "The Mage Whacker", so I think I'm doing better than normal. So I'm 95% sure that only Renair can use the rapier. To check if character X can wield weapon Y, trade it to them during the pre-battle sequence (when you place your units and all). If it's not grayed out, he/she can use it.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 8a part 1]Mage douchesThis looks pretty awkward...This halberdier keeps his eyes on troubadours with green hair.Juan tries to play the hero for her.Vainly...What a sexist bastard. He kinda reminds me on Valter only that his words are more direct. He seems to have two problems now.A new character, a pretty one appears from nowhere.Another traitor. Now she must fight against her former camerades. This is Cullahan.Chapter 8a starts directly. There's no preparation menu. I already was informed about this. You only have four units for this map: Renair Juan Lia Seren (new ally) Welcome to Seren! God I love this portrait, my absolute favorite one so far! She's a halberdier. I'm glad too see this class back again. I really liked the soldier and halberdier class in the Tellius-series.She has a javelin and a bloody lance (= killer lance), which give her AS penalty. However she has a very decent critrate with her killer lance.I'm going to use her all the way!You can beat chapter 8a in two ways: first alternative: talk to Cullahan Cullahan is the warrior, who's placed on the throne. He's already level 10, has tons of HP and defense. His resistance isn't that great. but his throne boosts make him almost invisible. It's almost impossible to lose him.If he should die somehow, it will cause most likely a Game over. second alternative: defeat the boss Ducann Ducann is a halberdier with a bloody lance and an axereaver. You see the critrate of 23. It seems that halberdier have a crit boost like they had in FE10. He's scary! I don't have an axeuser or a lancereaver in my current team against his short spear so I try to ignore him => I will talk to CullahanChapter 8a is a very small map, but it can be very tricky since you only have four units. Watch out for Lia!There are lot of enemies: mainly soldiers magic users with all three magic types (even female mages) a few knights a few fighters one archer one mercenary You will be supported by two NPCs (fighter and mercenary), who want to protect Cullahan.Renair gets almost no experience for killing enemies anymore so she shall weak them so that Seren or Juan can finish them off.The enemies have lower stats than in the previous chapters and their weapons aren't that speical either except for this soldier:He has a killer lance. There are an amory and a shop in this chapter.Turn 1Player phase:Seren gets her first kill.I equip Renair the kris sword that the archer or the dark mage will go for Seren.Renair is in the attack range of the soldier with the bloody lance already. No useful stuff for me. I've enough heal staves.Enemy phase:The kris is running out already. This is really bad!I also made a mistake in the explanation of the kris in chapter 6x. It's not a light sword. It attacks the resistance of the enemy, but it's only ranked in the physical weapon triangle (not in the magical triangle). That means it still has a disadvantage against lances.NPC phase:They're not completly useless!Turn 2Player phase:This hurts! No damage so Lia only needs to heal Seren.I waste more uses of the kris. Though I had to kill this soldier, because he shouldn't attack Lia. Renair blocks the bridge so the archer can't attack Lia or Juan.I'm okay with it, because all her former level ups were pretty good.Enemy phase:Before each enemy phase three enemies (two soldiers and a dark mage) and two NPCs (fighter and mercenary) appear.Click! Javelins are absolute pathetic in this hack.A soldier kills himself, but the mages can kill two NPCs. X-Naut
You should definitely kill Ducann, it's not the chapter goal but a secondary objective and you get a side chapter after it. If you don't think you can do it on your own (it does require crits to pull off) you can rescue-drop Cullahan in his 2-range, and eventually he'll start chasing you which makes him an easier target. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 8a part 2]Turn 3Player phase: I send all my units to the north. In the next turn I can cross the river. There's nothing special in the armory: Only iron weaponsEnemy phaseDespite weapon triangle advantage the enemy mercenary was killed by the NPC fighter. Now he's dead. This dark mage tries to challenge Cullahan. FAILURE!Turn 4Player phaseJuan attacks with the javelin so I make sure that the enemies will go after the NPCs, who don't have 2 range weapons. In two turns Renair will reach Cullahan already.Enemy phase:The mercenary can double the soldier, because he equips a steel lance. These mages are nasty.Another idiot...NPC phase:Why doesn't he attack one of the mages? Instead he prefers to have a weapon triangle disadvantage. At least one mage less. This makes my life much easier.Turn 5Player phase:Reinforcements appeared from the north. One of them is another mage girl. The mages must die first. That also means, I must use the kris once more. Renair gets hit with 20%.Damn it! So close.Juan shall kill the dark mage. That means if I can't kill this soldier in this turn, he will go after Lia in enemy phase. He's fine. The two soldiers can't kill him. They will go for the mercenary anyway. Lia is in a thicket. The soldier with the steel lance shouldn't be able to hit her...Enemy phase:... but of course he hits NPC phase:These NPC aren't that intelligent, but do a lot of kills. Cullahan kills the dark mage.So only the two soldiers are left.Turn 6Next turn I can end this chapter. This is risky, because I guess ambush reinforcements will appear again and can kill him. So I decide to heal him first. If Juan can't misses, Lia can be killed by this soldier.Good!Seren blocks the bridge. She won't get a single level up is this chapter.Enemy phase:As I expected: Ambush spawning:He also was attacked by a dark mage, who did 13 damage to him. Juan survived with 3 HP.My favorite classes represent the worst units of my team. Maybe I'm going to bring back Crowe. Eclipse might be happy about it.NPC phase:This fighter steals Seren the kill Turn 7Player phaseNow I talk to him and end this chapter. It was probably the shortest and most boring chapter for you so far.I apologize to you that I chosed the boring mission objective. Watching a bossfight would be much more interesting. This dialogue wouldn't exist, if I killed him. I'm going to replay this chapter to show the defeat boss mission, because I'll get access to a sidequest after this. I only will show you the bossbattle and the alternate ending. Enjolras and his group were captured by the mage douches.Renair in rage mode again. Still love her face!Who's this guy? Looks like another mercenary.Cullahan doesn't join my group.Vallans is probably the name of the green haired guy.Meanwhile:Melissa is one of his two sisters. Her naked arms imply that she's a myrmidon? I have noticed I don't have one yet.How was she able to invade the cell? This guy is probably the answer for that.Is he a good or bad guy? I'm a little bit confused now. Well, this answers my question already. Renair is the only one, who's probably able to do it. Though I must save the kris. TheMoniker
Yeah, the sidequest gets you necessary XP and other stuff, you should definitely get it. Personally, 8a is one of my favorite chapters.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 8a part 3]Now I show you the defeat boss alternative:This part starts from that point, when Renair could talk to Cullahan.Turn 7Player phase:I send Renair southward towards the boss. She's already in the attack rage of Ducann. She can survive one critical hit by the short spear.Enemy phase:Only this dark mage could appear, because the other spots are blocked. Ducann doesn't move.NPC phase:Turn 8Player phase:These knights don't move, because Renair was already in their attack range.Claps Shall I restart this chapter once more? All my lance users seem to turn out shitty.Probably I'll still go for Ilanice but only just because of the support with Amelia.Thank you X-Naut for this great idea He shall deal with the boss. He can't double him. I hope he can weak him so much that Renair can kill him.I don't know, if I lose, when an enemy can seize the throne. Hopefully not!Enemy phase:The soldier is healed.NPC phase:Turn 9Player phase:Next turn Juan can drop Cullahan.Enemy phase:Still more ambush spawning. Turn 10Player phase:Cullahan is in the attack range of Ducann now. Don't place him in the melee range, because Ducann also has an axereaver! The best level up in this chapter so far!Enemy phase:No more ambush reinforcements!Bossbatlle Cullahan can't 2RKO him. That's good, because Renair can kill him.NPC phase:This mercenary is oneshotted by a critical hit.Renair should be able to do seven damage to him!Turn 11Player phase:This could end very badly, if she misses and Ducann does a critical hit to her.You really deserve it, you sexist bastard! At least three stats. This chapter isn't finished yet. She must still talk to CullahanTurn 12The rest of this chapter is exact the same, only Ducann's dialogue is gone (of course). If you kill Dunann, you will have access to a sidequest. Many thanks for your comments!Chaoter 8a ends for real now. Edited April 28, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 8ax part 1]13th November 16Now they're split. This is Vesah.Garath is fooled of course. He asks for mercy...... vainly, because Garath is merciless.A female hero boss. An epic word-duel! Garath talks big again. Hopefully he won't regret his words...Crowe is more worried about his than about Garath's ass.Though Arcus will help him.A fug of war map and Garath must defend. Looks fun already!Chapter 8ax begins.Again there's no battle preparation. You got exact the units, you didn't have in the previous chapter. It's a fug of war map.You must defeat the boss Lyndra (most likely the hero). In contrast to th first fug of war map, you don't have a turn limit so you don't have that much time pressure.Garath is placed on a throne, which gives him +20 evasion and 2 defense.I highly recommend to let him on this spot to benefit by these boosts. He also will be healed 10% of his HP before each player phase. He can join Arcus's group, if all enemies in this area are defeated. He can be attacked by only one melee range unit (flying units excepted). The only serious dangers for him can be mages because of his poor resistance and axereavers. There's a village, which you can't visit, because it's blocked by the boss. There are an armory, a shop and a house next to Garath.Turn 1Player phase:Arcus with the swordreaver will decoy this mercenary. For the first Garath equips the hurbat to counterattack any 2 range weapons.Enemy phase:The bastard sword does effective damage to Arcus, because he counts as an armor knight. You'll see a lot of effective, killer, reaver and even devil weapons in this chapter. So be very careful! Nice. Hopefully he will level speed sometime...Before each player phase, Garath makes a declaration of war.Turn 2Player phase:Say hello to the vorpal axe (= killer axe)! Very bad news for Garath. As long this mercenary is alive and he still will attack him, I don't need to worry about this for that moment. You see lots of enemies next to me! Crossfire = Elfire. The boss of chapter 7a used it already. All these enemies are dead and there aren't any of them in my field of view. I hope there's no archer near by, because Ilanince isn't safe.A problem is that I couldn't bring the torch stave to this map, because the inventory was frozen since chapter 7a. At least I have Chester.Driscoll and Asher can support.Another glitchy one, but I have the support boosts at least.Enemy phase: Sword users can't do anything against Arcus. Ugh... this will become close!Perfect moment for more defense! No more enemies. Godthanks! These monologues remind me on chapter 4 of Midnight Sun in a different way. when Faratrass was desperated and driven to distraction by the Demon King. Before each player phase she hopes, she will be rescued as soon as possible. So more turns are passed, so more desperate she will become.Turn 3Player phase:Kolbance will check the western area out with a lancereaver, if there are any hidden dracoknights.I don't want to waste the labrys anymore. No enemy in my field of view. This dracoknight has an axereaver. More bad news for Gareth. However he uses the bow from now on of course. You see, you must check out each enemy's weapon not to get an unpleasant surprise!Enemy phase:A demon bow? I'll check this weapon out in the next turn. It does seven damage to Arcus, although he's placed in a thicket. Must be very powerful!I knew it! This chapter has had so many traps already so I was prepared for something like this. Edited April 29, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
Blaze The Great
Isn't this chapter title taken from FE11? This looks like a pretty cool map as well, but it seems very similar to the last one in some ways.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 8ax part 2]Turn 3Player phase:Goodbye killer axe!Let's check out this archer with the demon bow:The demon bow has the devil effect. It's very powerful, but also ridiculous heavy with 15 weight. It weighs him down so much, that even Arcus can double him.Time to have fun with these dracoknights:100% hitrate with an axe even with weapon triangle advantage is very rare.I'll give Crowe one more level. If it sucks, I'll definitely bench him.The weaken dracokinght with the axereaver is in the range of my mainteam now. He'll go for Crowe.Enemy phase:Crowe is still an unlucky guy. Tbh reaverweapons have a critboost.Arcus can even double these soldiers. They have a steel lance, but they have enough constitution to use it without AS penalty.Turn 4Player phase:No Crowe, these aren't the stats, I was looking for!It seems that the mercenary is the only enemy between Arcus' group and Garath. Maybe Garath can leave the throne in the next turn and join Arcus.Enemy phase:No, there are more hidden enemies!Turn 5Player phase:Magic power against the dracoknight.Look, the first enemy pegasus knight!More strength than speed and same defense as resistance? Even the dracos have as much speed as the peggies. At least they have enough con to use iron lances without AS penalty.Enemy phase:At least she isn't doubled thanks to the high con.Turn 6Player phase:Kolbane helps Garath out from now on. They also have C-support.I really like Driscoll. 100% hite for a fighter isn't natural.Whoops, I stired up a hornets' nest! Some enemies are near by. This could be a serious problem for a few units.Enemy phase:Good! Chester should be safe.Haha, the killing edge can't do anything!Another new weapon: veritas. The description says: Effective against chaotic units. What does it mean?Oh my God, a berserker! The first promoted enemy, who isn't a boss. Godthanks he attacks the right person! Titanium weapons are probably silver weapons.Gabriel was hit by a cavalier.Turn 7Player phase:Now I must kill lots of dangerous enemies. The two myrmidons and the beserker must die first! No more berserker.Something else than these stats would be nice...You can't shock me anymore.Nice, but please level speed.Epic critical! Now all the nasty enemies are gone. You see a cavalier and a soldier near by me, but everyone should be fine.Chester and Crowe can support:If Crowe's levels would be as great as his support and dialogues, I'd have much more fun with him.Now Garath leaves his "home".Kolbane checks out the shop. Unfortunately he has no free slot to buy anything. This shop has a new dark tome: venom. Slightly more powerful, but less accurate than flux. I will buy it later.Instead he heals himself.Enemy phase:So many freaking flying enemies with powerful weapons. The first FoW map in chapter 5 was a cakewalk compared to this one!Turn 8Player phase:The left side undermanned. I can't kill the dracoknight. One mercenary can attack Garath. If any hidden enemies appear, he could die. If Garath dies => Game OverThe right side looks much better.Goodbye ranseur....... and goodbye Ilanice. The dracoknight shall attack Asher. So the right side is cleared. Now I must hope that Garath will survive.Enemy phase:Puh! No more hidden enemies than these two could attack him. Again lucky! I'm still surprised that I only have had one death yet (and this one was absolute unexpected). Isn't this chapter title taken from FE11? This looks like a pretty cool map as well, but it seems very similar to the last one in some ways. This chapter is called A traitor's worth (12x). I don't know, if this name shall have a reference to this one. I never have played any of the gaidens in FE11 yet. Anyway this chapter is much harder than the first FoW map, because the variety of the enemies' weapons is much more dangerous for my units. So many reaver, killing and effective weapons. Don't forget to check the little house in the west, you get a small but nice reward if you do. (no big deal if you don't get it though) Thanks for the advice! Have it done. MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 8 ax part 3]Turn 9My main team can help Kolbane and Garath out now:AlrightGarath, Arcus and Kolbane block all these reinforcements. Each turn a soldier with a short spear and a mercnary with a steel sword appear. The north-east area is clear for now.Enemy phase:Arcus could theoretically solo against all physical units thanks to his high defense.Typical armor knight level up.Turn 10Player phase:I think the worst part's over. I only have to deal with these reinforcements. No enemies except for a mage came from north-east. The boss is probably stationary near by that village.Garath and Kolbance kill this mercenary.Enemy phase:Garath can't hit anything because of the weapon disadvantage. The first mercenary is in the thicket. At least Arcus can.NiceThe enemy makes perfect use of the weapon triangle so far. So I must praise the A. I.Turn 11Player phase:Miss. Annoying thicket.Though Chester isn't impressed by that. That's a level up I want to see. : ] Speed is maxed! Now two of my entire team have maxed out speed already.Godthanks these soldiers are so slow that Arcus can 1RKO them (18 x 2 damage). (though by far not as slow as in the GBA series)Crowe's final kill probably.Ilanice's final kill probably.I have read that I still need her in a certain chapter. Although her speed is ridiculous, I still consider to let her in my team. I want to bench Crowe, Seren and Juan. Ilanice's advantages: She has a support with Amelia She is more flexible in the weapon triangle, because she can use two weapon types. I need at least one mobile unit, because I have no other mounted units except for Juan and her. I have no idea, when two cavaliers will return. All the enemies except for the boss are deated => Catchy victory musicBefore I will move my units to the boss, I manage my inventory a little bit. I stopped to count the turns at that point.Ilanice sells the blue gem and therefore she buys the venom tome for Gabriel.Arcus uses the talisman. As I mentioned in a spoiler already, Lyndra blocks this village. There's no way to visit it, because it's a defeat boss mission. If she's dead, this chapter is over. Unlucky bastardThe hero class is replaced by the (imo great) name "gladiator". As a regular hero she can use swords and axes. Lyndra has good stats all around and pretty nice equipment. She has the tomahawk equipped, which reduces her AS by three. So you can attack her with a sworduser without any problems. But make sure to resuce this unit after that, because the swordslayer can wreck a sworduser very easily. Idk, if it's an 1RKO for Kolbane and Chester. You also can steal something important: knight sigil. It's basically a knight crest only with the little difference that soldiers can use it as well. So that means I must use Seren anyway. However in this hack you can't promote an unit until it has reached level 15. Bossbattle:A little note: This is the process of my first run.I was informed to visit the house. I didn't do it in my first run so I restarted at the point, when the bossbattle began. It went off similarly: Amelia vs. Lyndra. So don't wonder, if you see Garath and some other supporting actors in the following images.Amelia will be busy for a quite while. The bosstheme is softly with grace.Asher heals her after each hit.Garath buys a heal stave.Enemy phase:Player phase:Knight sigil stolen. You get a red gem (= 2500 gold) in this house.Enemy phase:Player phase:Garath sells the red gem in the armory.Kolbane finishes this chapter.Wow! Burning 100 exp. for one single stat. At least it's the most important stat he got...Lots of level ups the past two chapters were really disappointing.OMG, what's he going to do with her?Happy reunion. Chapter 8ax ends. @ Blaze Of course Gabriel is a guy. It's a male name. @ Eclipse Yeah, I remember on something...
Blaze The Great
@ Blaze Of course Gabriel is a guy. It's a male name. Oh woops I thought you were referencing Gabriel but you were still talking about the Peg Knight. My bad.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 9a part 1] Somehow the order of the images was disorded so I think I did a mistake with the turncount somewhere. I'm pretty sure that before each player phase two of my allies appear in this chapter. In one turn it doesn't happen. They're detected.Chapter 9a begins already. It's a big map. There's still only a group of four. The mercenary and the archer don't join my team. It will be a tedious chapter with this small number of allies. Probably almost a "Renair-solo". It's a defeat boss mission once more. Jayson is the boss, but he's not on the map yet. He seems to be a berserker, because you saw a berserker sprite in the story. The enemies consist of brigands soldiers mercenaries mages wyvern knights and an archer They have mainly iron, steel and rnage weapon. One brigand has a titanium axe. Ballista archer. He has a killer bow and chest keys, which you can't steal, because I have no thief.Welcome to the wonderful world of long range magic! Meteor weighs and hits like a truck. The hitrate is crap. However don't underrestimate it, because no one except for Renair and Lia can survive to hits. The map theme to this chapter is a remix of the second attack theme from FE9 Decisive Attack. I must say this annoyed me after a few seconds already. It's a great battle theme, but not fitting to a map. It will become monotonous very fast. Turn 1Player phase: This dracoknights are already a problem for my troubadour and Juan only can do barely damage to them. Here's Jayson. He mentions that I will get reinforcements. Hopefully he's right...Enemy phase: No problem, becuase Lia can heal him. Turn 2Player phase:Driscoll and Gabriel join! However they're far away from Renair's group. The meteor mage is a serious problem for Driscoll, because he has one single point in resistance. I don't know, if he moves. Gabriel must deal with all these mages. He will decoy the left mage first before I'll decoy the meteor mage.First reinforcements! One problem less. This dracoknight will attack Lia. There's no way to avoid this. Renair kills the brigand.Enemy phase:Nice dodgeOf course she doesn't crit!Gabriel kills the left mage.Turn 3Player phase:Now Lia is out of the range of this dracoknight.New reinforcements (a soldier) appear! I guess Gabriel has blocked one. So I must change my plans. I can't decoy the meteor mage till all enemies with physical wepons are defeated. I will send Gabriel to the west and Driscoll will use the fort for a few turns.Enemy phase:Driscoll kills the reinforcement soldier.Turn 4Player phase:More ambush spawning from my side! Awesome! So I guess before each turn two allies will appear somewhere. Ilanice and Amelia appear in the northern area.Ilanice will decoy this mercenary. Here's the brigand with the titanium axe, who hits Juan with 26%.Godthanks he's down!Enemy phase:Obviously he wants to come back in my mainteam...... while he wants to be kicked out. Don't worry! I won't bench him. I'll forgive him this one time. Turn 5Player phase: Arcus and Asher are here! Seren shall block these reinforcements. She has more defense than Ilanice and as much as Driscoll. She can survive two hits so I do this.Time to check out, if the meteor mage will move.Enemy phase:I totally forgot to move Arcus and Asher.Yes, he moves! The animation of meteor looks different than in most regular FE games. Like in the description it attacks with some smaller flame rocks instead of a giant rock. Oh woops I thought you were referencing Gabriel but you were still talking about the Peg Knight. My bad. Oh, was something vague in my commentary? Could you give me the image / line, which wasn't obvious? I'll edit this. Edited May 2, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach

Chester can 1RKO the brigands. Crowe will do absolutely nothing.Enemy phase:More defense is nice, although he doesn't really need it. Dodges almost everything anyway. The meteor mage can't do anything against him because of the avoid boost from the fort.Turn 7Player phase:Now my team is complete.Garath can even attack the meteor mage! Awesome! Now the biggest problem is gone!I try to give Seren one more level up to check out, if I'll use her in the upcoming chapter, or not.Of course she misses.Arcus, you troll!Enemy phase:He missed with 88%, but hits with 38%.Turn 8Player phase:That's it! No more waste of experience on her!At least she can heal more. Most of the enemies and reinforcements are dead. I'm pretty sure the boss will appear soon, because my team is complete.Time to visit the two houses in the south-eastern area of this map:I get a veritas. I mentioned it in the previous chapter already: What's a chaotic unit?No more free slot in the inventory. Drop the iron bow.A new ally!Adrian is a bard (= dancer). He's absolute welcome in my team. He also gives me money with the blue gem.Same animation like Elphin. I guess I'll get a dancer in the B-route Enemy phase:He hits again with 38%.Turn 9Player phase:She starts a competition with Juan to come back in my team. Exact ths same level up.Stupid fortWasting of exp. for fun.Now he starts to turn out into a resbox too. Garath will be benched as well. His hitrate is absolute terrible even with support. Driscoll is by far more reliable. I won't have a bowuser in my team, but they're only useful because of the 3 attack range. Magic users are much better from the distance. Definitely benched: Crowe, Seren Most likely benched: Garath On the rocks: Ilanice and Juan (probably tend to use Ilanice) (I've read that I need both in a later chapter) The stat he needed the most. So I can take it!Enemy phase:So closeTurn 9Player phase:Now Jayson appears... on a spot, I definitely didn't want to see him! He's a typical berserker: Poor hitrate, but high critrate! With his tomahawk he has a 1-2 attack range. The bloody axe has a less accuracy than the tomahawk for some reason.I have no idea, if he moves. I place Renair in his 2 attack range. She's in a thicket so he shouldn't hit her.Gabriel will use the fort to block and kill the mage and to reduce Jayson's hitrate as much as possible, if he really will move. I could rescue Gabriel with Juan, but I hope he won't move. Gabriel is damaged. If Jayson hits him, he will be dead. Driscoll only can f**k off...Enemy phase:Disappointing Bosstime:OH MY GOD! Jayson really moves! Will Gabriel survive it?To be continued... Edited May 2, 2015 by Mister IceTeaPeach
Blaze The Great
Oh, was something vague in my commentary? Could you give me the image / line, which wasn't obvious? I'll edit this. No, you showed the stat screen for the peggies a few images before that one, talking about their pathetic speed. Then you made the image with the pegasus attacking Gabriel while still referencing the pegasus knights as opposed to Gabriel. At first I didn't make that connection, it was just a silly mistake by me.
MisterIceTeaPeach
[spoiler=Chapter 9a part 3]It's do or die now for Gabriel:He dodges! And again I'm a lucky bastard ! I know it was absolute unnecessary to gamble in this situation. Really thought Jayson would be stationary. It doesn't matter that Gabriel missed too. I should take him out in the next turn with him, Renair and Juan's axereaver. And again I totally forgot to move some of my units... Still unbelievable that my deathcount is still 1.Maybe the last time you see Garath in action.Turn 10Player phase:Juan shall do the final blow. The axereaver weighs so much that he will be doubled. However it seems to be that the critrate of berserkers is nerfed. 12% isn't very much and Juan doesn't benifit from a support. Gabriel and Renair must weak him first. Gabriel's HP is restored a little bit so he can survive an attack now. He attacks first:Excellent. He hits and Jayson's doesn't crit him.Renair does 2x11 damage so Juan could kill him.Nevermind, she crits!Nice! She's almost level 20 and I guess I can't promote her in this hack version. Chapter 9a is done! It was a very interersting one with the ambush spawn of my units! The happy reunion. Now, they're all together again...somehow...with much luck.Chapter 9a ends. X-Naut
That Renair is soooooooo overleveled (but so good at the same time, she'll make a good replacement Jeigan for Garath) And I think you're selling Seren a bit short, she's three levels below Ilanice and matches her Speed (and with better Con) and has an impressive Strength growth. But it's your playthrough so do what you will.
Ansem
Seren usually turns out alright for me. I think she just needs a few more levels under her belt. I honestly use her because I like her animation haha.
